Salamander at the garden today.

UCSD's Pre-Pharmacy Society have been a wonderful addition to our volunteer days, we hope others can come by and have the same great experience they had recently!

The UC San Diego Pre-Pharmacy Society visited Roger's Community Garden, and they had a great time. We hope you'll come and do the same!

Our summer fruit trees are yielding! Nectarines, plums, and nectaplum hybrids! Come by on Sundays 10 to noon for the rest of July for a taste!

Hi everyone, for those who know Roger's Community Garden at UCSD they know it is a non-profit garden where students have a place to research and learn about agriculture and other sustainability related projects from renewable energies to hydroponics and aquaponics. Unfortunately, our location at UCSD makes us prone to vandals and thieves. Over the last 6 months RCG has been broken into 5 times for a total loss up to $3,000 in equipment, tools, and supplies. We don't even care... about what was stolen, but we are demoralized and unable to trust the locks we put. Therefore, we are starting a GoFundMe to raise money to create the most web-connected and secure community garden in the world. Any excess funds will go to buy student's whose summer projects were cut short this year. Direct payment can be made via check to Roger's Community Garden. Thank you.

Roger's Community Garden at UCSD is supporting research.

Hey Everyone!

One of our Garden Alums is conducting research on a pathogenic fungi while in Georgia for graduate school that has important human health effects. Earl has done so much for the garden over the years and we would like to help him out too.

Any amount is welcome as his lab is trying to reach $2,200 for the Illumina Sequencing technique that would provide more insight for the scientific community. Check out their crowdfuning site below! #bringearlhome #helpaUCSDalumni #UCSD
