For those who weren't able to make the trip South for Aaron's service on Saturday in Charlotte, it was an incredible joyous experience filled with a choir of beautiful voices singing gospel songs and an inspired uplifting sermon by Minister Vernell Lyles.
The message of the sermon was "Chalice of Love" and how Aaron was a chalice overflowing with love that he shared with everyone he met. We were... welcomed with open arms by all who attended and I feel like I have a new family in Charlotte and at New Life Fellowship Church.
Aaron's saxophone was by his side and they laid 42 roses on his casket to represent his 42 years walking the Earth and spreading the abundance of love he had with everyone he met. They closed the service by playing Chalice of Love from the Roots Nation cd and showing a beautiful slide presentation of his life compiled by his sister Meredith.

My best friend and partner in crime and founding member of Roots Nation was taken from us way too early today at the age of 42.
I couldn't have done this band without you.
You will be missed more than you can imagine and I know you'll be blowing some serious sax solos in heaven.
