EMERGENCY - being rushed to the vet. 17 years old YES SEVENTEEN!!! ...dumped at the highest kill shelter in the country by his crappy owners. PLEASE SHARE Nice way to repay this loyal sweet boy for the many years of love he gave his people. He is now being rushed to the emergency vet because the shelter staff failed to notice a badly infected wound that they now think is MRSA. We will do whatever it takes to get this boy well so he can live out his days with someone who cares. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SAVE CLYDE’s LIFE!!! Any amount helps PayPal PO Box 307 White Plains NY 10602
FOSTERS NEEDED!!! Could you open your home and heart to a dog in need ? These three beautiful and heartbreaking pups are arriving from Texas on Wednesday afternoon into the Northeast and they each need a foster home! The two black labs in the back of the kennel are about 1 year old and are both female. The gorgeous blue nose boy in the front is about two years old. All are said to be good with other dogs and friendly. They have been vetted and now we are just waiting for their hair to grow in! Please fill out an application at or email with questions. Our transport has many different stops along the way from Texas to NY so we can figure something out !

My husband and I wanted to adopt our first dog from SNARR and was immediately met with helpful communication on the process within 24 hours. Within days, we were approved and spoke to the foster mom f...or our little baby girl Jasmine from the J litter. One week later, we met her and were able to take her home!

We've never been happier! She is our world and our baby! We loved our experience with SNARR and will be adopting again from here very, very soon.

I decided to foster a dog through SNARR and was immediately contacted and explained how to continue the process. We met our foster pup yesterday and she has some medical needs that need to be taken of but I feel like the team at SNARR is with us every step of the way. I can get in touch with them right away with answers to my many questions. Great organization! See More

Our vet practice works very closely with SNARR and couldn't speak more highly of the level of care and compassion they provide their pets with. I personally foster for them as well and have foster fa...iled! They are a group I am proud to work with and to say I'm a part of! See More

S.N.A.R.R. Has an amazing team. We completed an application for a puppy we were interested in and within a couple of days we were contacted to complete the qualification process. The staff was straigh...tforward and easy to communicate with. We did not get the puppy we wanted but we were told there was a family ahead of us. We appreciate their honesty. I know the puppy is going to a loving home. It takes a lot of time to organize adoptions and screen applicants so Thank You everyone working at the rescue See More

It's a terrible day when a rescue tries to tear another rescue down. Absolutely ridiculous! You're both rescues trying to help and instead of stepping up to help, you tried to tear another rescue orga...nization down. Shame on you! You could have done a hundred things differently instead of spreading such hate and hostility! You could have reached out to the other organization and offered your help but instead, you decided to bash them so they will have a harder time helping other dogs in the future. Good job! With one crappy post, I wonder just how many dogs you sent to their deaths by hurting another organization. You should be ashamed of yourselves as a rescue organization and as human beings! See More

I had been trying to adopt a puppy for weeks and so many shelters/rescues were giving me a hard time or inviting me to adoption events where I would go home empty handed and disappointed. SNARR was th...e first rescue that made it so simple and actually enjoyable. They were thorough enough to show they care but not invasive or crazy! I adopted Titan yesterday (formally known as Rahul) and am super happy, he's awesome!! See More

One of the most stand up, reputable rescues I have had the pleasure of working with. The members work tirelessly within this nonprofit to save as many animals as they can, making all of the right call...s every step of the way and doing right by their animals and fellow volunteers. I would highly recommend SNARR rescue to anyone looking to adopt their next companion. See More

This place is nothing but amazing. The people here in this group dedicate their personal time, money, family life for their heart felt dedication to these amazing animals deserves a humanitarian award.

Please help us to continue getting our sweet boy Houston the specialty care he so desperately needs. His bills are already SEVERAL THOUSAND dollars !!! Houston has been out of the hospital 6 days and is in wonderful spirits but still coughing and he has labored breathing at times. His blood panels came back negative for the fungal diseases we tested for but the doctor feels it’s best to move forward treating him as fungal for now. He will go back to the specialist on Tuesday for follow up X-rays to see if the mass in his chest is any better.

Make your donation now.

Don’t cook dinner and come support SNARR Northeast !!! Family friendly event so feel free to bring the kids !
April 23rd from 5pm, Quaker Tavern in Chappaqua NY will donate a portion of every bill directly to SNARR. Delish food, great drinks, meet some dogs. Raffle and cash prizes !!! Come Join the Fun!!!
