Had very bad and distasteful experience. The people not very friendly. Ordered for a combo meal, I got frozen roti which was burnt and very little dal. The pap...ad was missing. When I asked, why do you offer frozen paratas and not fresh cooked ones, the service person said, that all restaurants in Auckland provide only frozen re-heated paratas.(which ofcourse is not true). If I wanted to eat a frozen parata, I could have had them at home. At the same time, for 8.95NZD meal, the portion of dal was very little. عرض المزيد

Satya Sandringham have a great selection of vegan options, when you ask for indian hot it tastes amazing, most other indian restaurants just make it extra salty.

The Service was excellent and the food lovely. The menus were grubby tho. Food on them etc... sticky tables too

My family and I have become regular customers and love this place! We get great service from the staff, he even remembers our order every time! Delicious, fresh and unique food. Highly recommended for vegetarians and vegans too as there are lots of entree and main options.

Me & my friends were at Satya tonight for dinner in Sandringham. The ambiance was very poor. When I went to use the rest room there was no facility provided to ...dry your hands after washing. The service was a joke as the person who came to take our order seemed like he was on something (may be alcohol, could tell from his body language & speech). The food was below average & 2 of our entrees never made it, so we had to ask to bring it with our mains. This was definitely the first & last time we dined in there. عرض المزيد

I went to the K road branch yesterday evening and the Bhel Puri had a live cockroach on it which one of my friends flicked on the floor from revulsion.
We call...ed the waiter and told him, he peered at the plate and walked off with it - no apology either then or when we paid later.
I have been going to Satya since they first opened in Albert street and it has deteriorated lately, looking shabby and food quality has gone down.
I will not go again or recommend it as I have done many times in the past. It is a pity they have let their standards drop. عرض المزيد

The Satya Restaurants at both Sandringham and Mt Eden are excellent, and the meals an experience. This is not a typical fare found at most 'westernized' Indian restaurants. There is a lot of love and hard work put into each meal, and the flavours are amazing. Highly recommend.

The food is exceptional at Sandringham, cannot comment on theie other sites as have yet to have a dining experience at them. Rest assured will be checking them out.

Satya South Indian Restaurants will serve free Christmas dinners in all five of its Auckland Restaurants. Its been a difficult year for many and people may find themselves without family, friends or the means to have a Christmas meal. You rock Swamy Akuthota.

Are you going to Open Streets K Rd 2016 on 1 May 2016?
Satya South Indian Cafe 271 K'Rd will be open during the event and there'll be a stall out front.

Our stall will have a selection of delicious Indian food including tasty morsels of dahi puri, masala dosa, a choice of 4 different curries with rice and mango lassi. Curries are chicken tikka massala, butter chicken, lamb rogan josh and palakura paneer.
