The syrup was excellent, their prices are reasonable and the property is lovely to walk around. There was a slight line for pancakes when we arrived, but it moved pretty quickly and there were a few h...eaters outside to take the edge off the cold with our little one. All in all it was a great trip and we'll definitely be stopping by again! See More

We had such a great time this weekend there. They were so pleasant and happy. We have a child with a food allergy, and they were so accommodating and cooked his pancakes with a fresh spatula and sepa...rate grill. He ate with no worries!! Loved all the samples and hiking! See More

My friend and I brought our kids this past Sunday. We got there fairly early and only waited in line for about 15 minutes. It was well worth the little wait, we enjoyed pancakes and sausage. Afterward...s we went into the sugar house. It smelled amazing and the kids were surprising interested in seeing how things were made and tasting the different kinds of syrup. The syrup trail was well marked and easy to walk with a bunch of fun facts and information on posted signs along the trail. Definitely would recommend as a fun and different outing for families. I try to make it to the Shadow Hill Maple Open House every spring when the sap is running. They opened up for a Fall Open House this year. I think the Fall Maple Open House is my favorite. The walking... paths are so beautifully colored with the crimson and orange leaves of Autumn. Every year no matter what season there's something new to see and enjoy. See More

The trail walk is a must. The bridge over the pond is fabulous and custom made by the owner as are the buildings as well. A great place to visit.

We had such a great time here! The customer service was awesome, and the lady who was at the register was nice enough to share some of her gold fish crackers with my Son!! Thank you.

What a sweet ( ha ha) place to visit! We went out to take a tour of the syrup making process, and sample and buy some maple items. We got our fill. The staff was very kind and pleasant, even though it... was quite busy. We didn't plan on having their pancake breakfast, but I am glad because there was a long line, even though the wait was outside on a rainy day. See More

Only 2 more days until the first Open House and the farm is abuzz with activity. One of today's project's was to get the donut machine up and running and I have to say the donuts are fantastic! Be sure to put one of our open houses on your calendar and swing by and find out for yourself!

The time has come to say goodbye to another season as we have ended our 2018 Spring Maple Syrup Open House weekends! The maple farm is closed for the season! Please note that maple syrup products can still be purchased year-round at Shadow Hill Landscape, located at 6330 Lakeside Road, Ontario, NY 14519. We can also be contacted with any questions at 315-524-2190.

We have said it in past years, but the 2018 Spring season even further exceeded our expectations. We are forever... thankful to our entire community, and are especially thankful for those of you who chose to spend a weekend with us at the Shadow Hill Maple Syrup farm.

As we do after every season, we will evaluate our processes to see how we can better our operation and improve our facility so that we can continue to provide the highest customer satisfaction.

We look forward to seeing everyone again for our Open House weekends in Fall 2018!

Have a wonderful summer!
