If anyone said they didn’t like Mary, they had to move. Well, I’m not sure that ever happened, but she wasn’t just liked — she was loved. Beloved.

Originally Printed in the Anchorage Daily News Alaska has lost one of our best -- I would venture to say our very best -- this week. Mary Epperson passed away in Homer, surrounded by her family. Sh...

The latest from Shannyn Moore -

"Here’s the thing. If you think abortion is murder, or our American Holocaust — then why wouldn’t you be all about punishing that act? Really?"

Donald Trump has finally said something I believe. He’s since walked it back, but this week he said he believed women should be punished for abortions. He also said he didn’t think anything should ...

Oh, Alaska. That mighty embarrassment of a quitter governor is on the front page of everything again. As my friend Arne N Sundt puts it, "Watching Palin endorse Trump, you realize...she doesn't HAVE a first language."
She is still the Word Salad Shooter. Stupid meme after stupid meme.
She now blames Obama for her son's PTSD - the reason he punched and kicked his girlfriend, kept her from calling 911, brandished a gun, all around asshat. Track has been off track since before... Obama was elected. He was one of the kids who cut the brake lines on school buses. He joined the military to avoid jail. He's had issues - I'm guessing because of shitty parents - since before he joined up. When he came back he was passing out prescription drugs. He's a hot mess.
Sarah Palin has never been accountable for anything. She's blamed everything from bloggers to the president.
I have dear friends who are vets. Paul Rieckhoff, Jon Soltz, Andy Wilkens, William Willenbrink, Duane Hoefling to mention a few who are vets. It hasn't been easy on them, but they haven't punched their women. Track Palin is a result of bad parenting and bad choices. Sarah Palin blaming a war started by GWB and Dick Cheney - for her son's crimes, is just par for the course. It's how they roll.
Here's my suggestion, folks. Alaskans see this family out and about far too often. Just say to them, "Enough." Say it once, twice, and walk away. Enough. We've all just had enough.

Shannyn Moore: He's "You're fired!" And she's "I quit!"

Sarah endorses Donald - is this possibly what Shannyn Moore joked, the start of a new reality show?

Palin endorsement looking to bring in voters with only half a brain. Palin, who MSNBC's Chuck Todd referred to as, "the woman that used to be the biggest reality star in politics" is set later toda...

Sarah Palin has endorsed Donald Trump. They are a reality show waiting to happen. He's "You're fired!" and she is "I quit!"
Having Palin endorse you is like having Jeffrey Dahmer say your cooking is wonderful or getting a character reference from Tanya Harding.
Lizz Winstead put it so well, "Sarah Palin would endorse Flint water if it would mean getting herself back in the news cycle."
Thanks, John McCain. The parasite is eating the host.

Here's my column for this week. Love you. Mean it.

OPINION: Who would have thought that with oil selling for less than $35 a barrel, managing other people’s marriages would be such a pressing issue for Alaskans?

"I'm sorry."
It's a difficult thing to say. Sometimes it is something too easy to believe. "I didn't mean to cheat on you. I never will again," comes to mind.
I have been slow to say it. Quick to believe it occasionally, and too slow at other time.
The GOP is having a melt down over our apology to the Iranian government after two boats were obtained in their waters. They call it a spectacle and want to know if they can force the lieutenant who apologized to apologize for the ...apology. Armchair asshats who haven't seen a day of fire.
Here's the switch up. I am doing something harder than saying "I'm sorry."
Dear George W Bush, thank you.
In 2001 there was a really close call to an international incident with China. The Hainan Island incident happened on April 1 of that year. One of our Navy aircraft, an EP-3E ARIES II, got into close quarters with two J-811 Chinese aircraft in Chinese airspace. There was a collision and one of the Chines planes crashed, killing its pilot.
The American plane was forced to land and the 24 crew members were captured and interrogated by the Chinese. They had spent their last airborne minutes destroying sensitive items and data on the aircraft. They were detained for ten days until a document was delivered to the Chinese received a document still called, "The Letter Of The Two Sorries."
The letter expressed that the US was "very sorry" for the death of Wang Wei, the Chinese pilot killed in the encounter and that they were "very sorry" the plane had not gained "verbal clearance" before it entered China's airspace.
Oh, later we said it wasn't an "I'm sorry" but rather "an expression of regret and sorrow." Whatever.
Those Navy members were given a hero's welcome when they returned to their base on Widbey Island in Washington.
I don't remember anyone picketing that welcome home and jerkoffs saying, "We don't say we're sorry."
Sometimes we are wrong. That's when you say you're sorry. It's what we teach our children. The people criticizing our president and the lieutenant who apologized to the Iranians for being in their space, you need to just suck it. Did you want people to die? Be detained? Escalated war? Yeah, you sort of did, because then we'd push Jesus into the second coming and you'd get sucked up to heaven in the Rapture Hoover™.
This morning. Ten men free. Thank you, Obama.
April 11, 2001. Twenty Four men free. Thank you, GWB.
Sorry.
Not sorry.

I wrote a column. I own guns and I think the NRA is a terrorist organization. Let's fix us.

OPINION: Most Alaskans own guns, and I can't believe that we think that doing nothing -- in fact knowing nothing -- is the way to solve problems.

Peter Miccichi is a worthless excuse for an Alaskan. Check this bill out for "marriage solomnization". Really. Asshat.

Remember that time the Alaska Chamber of Commerce stooge came after me? Oh, wait...that was on Christmas. Yesterday. Suck it, Thayer. They just give out "report cards" giving democrats all Fs for not toeing the corporate line. And Curtis Thayer was Commissioner of Administration for years under Parnell and failed to cut $1.

Today marks the third anniversary of America's endorsement of gun owner privilege over the right of parents not to have dead children. "So, the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of kindergartners, mall shoppers and movie goers."
We call children who have lost their parents orphans. What do we call parents who have lost their children? There doesn't seem to be a comparative word that expresses the loss. Since we aren't doing anything to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill, or even treating the mentally ill, we should probably come up with a word. It's the least we can do.

Prayer shaming.” It’s a new term invented by self appointed victims of absolutely nothing but their own pomposity. So, a bunch of people got shot? And? Well, we’ll be real upset until the next bunch of people get shot, which may only be a few hours or days.
