They have the BEST Steamed Shrimp, hands down. BUT, when I went in today to pick up some of their Macaroni Shrimp Salad, it was so unbearably HOT in there, I was only in there for about 7 minutes total and I was sweating to death. I asked the Cashier if the A/C was broken, and she said "I don't think so, I just think we aren't allowed to turn it on!" It felt absolutely disgusting and humid in there, and I know it's a Seafood place, but the "fishy" aroma was much worse bc of t...he humidity in there.
That's not great for storing Seafood either, even though it IS in a glass-cased fridge on ice. For one it makes the storage fridges run longer and more often. And for two, if you're running a Seafood place, it doesn't look good on your behalf, bc MY first thought was, if it's this hot in here, I'm NOT buying Seafood. It could be bad, or not stored correctly, according to the temps. If I go in there tomorrow (or next few days) and this problem is fixed, then I'll change my rating to 5 stars. They have a GREAT breakfast buffet every morning as well. They specialize in Seafood, so ALL their sandwiches and subs having to do with Seafood are delicious, but ordinary subs, such as Cheese Steaks, Turkey, Ham, etc. are just as I stated, ordinary. They're not great, but they're not awful either. I highly recommend anything Seafood though.
