PREDICTIONS 2ND COMING OF JESUS

In 1757: Emanuel Sweden borg; said Jesus return is not in the flesh, but in this Holy Spirit. “Neither shall they say see here or see there, for behold, the kingdom of... God is within you” (Luke 17:20). He contains to have daily interaction with Christ for over 30 years.
1829-09-15 George Rapp; founder and leader of the Harmony society, predicted that on September 15, 1829, the three and one half years of the sum woman would end and Christ would begin his reign on earth. Dissension grows when Rapp’s predictions went unfulfilled. In March 1832, a third of the group left and some began following a man named Bernhard Muller who claimed to be the Lion of Judah. Nevertheless, most of the group stayed and Rapp continued to lead them until he died on August 7, 1847. His last words to his followers were “If I did not so fully believe, that the Lord has designated me to place our society before His presence in the land of Cannan, I would consider this my last”.
1844 -10-22 William Milley and the Millerite Movement; The fact that this failed to happen the way people were expecting was later referred to as the Great Disappointment. Some Millerites continue to set dates; others founded the Seventhday Adventist Church and the Advent Christian Church, which continue to expect a soon second coming but no longer set dates for it.
1874 Charles Taze Russell; the first president of what is now the watchtower society of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, calculated 1874 to be the year of Christi’s second coming, and until his death taught that Christ was invisibly present, and ruling from the heavens from that data prophesied. Invisible return 1874, Resurrection of the saints in 1875, end of Harvest and Rapture of the saints to heaven 1878, the day of Wrath in 1914
1891 Joseph Smith (Mormons); In the History of the church, page 957, an eye witness’s account of Joseph Smith’s prophecy in 1835 is record as: President Smith then stated that the meeting had been called, because God has it; and it was made known to him by vision and by the Holy Spirit.
1914 Jehovah’s Witnesses; the “2nd coming” is important in the doctrine of Jehovah’s Witnesses, although they do not use this term. Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that Christ’s visible return will be at Armageddon. They believe that 1914 marked the beginning of Christ’s invisible presence. They believe the sign Christ revealed about his return in Mathew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 began to occur starting in 1914
1917 to 1930 Sun Myung Moon; The followers of Reverend sun Myung Moon consider Reverend Moon to be the Lord of the second Advent called by Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday at the age of 15 on a Korean Mountain side.
1930 to 1939 Rudolf Steiner; He described the physical incarnation of Christ as a unique event, but predicted that Christ reappear in the esthetic, or lowest spiritual plane beginning in the 1930s
1975 Herbert W. Armstrong; Pastor – General of the Radio church of God, and then the World wide Church of God, felt the return of Jesus might be in 1975
1981-06-28 Bill Maupin; a pastor of the light house Gospel Track Foundation in Tucson, Arizona, Wrote a book predicting the date of the second coming. His congregation sold all their belongings and went to a hill top on that day to await the event.
1982-06-21 Benjamin Crème; Crème put advertisements in many of the world’s major newspapers in early 1992 stating that the second coming would occur on Monday, 21 June 1982
2007-09-13 Paul Sides: Predicted that September 13, 2007 Marks the end of the seven years of “War and rumors of war” that erupted when the Oslo accords were annulled. Then he predicts a final seven year “tribulation period” that culminates in a war over the Holy hand that brings back the Messiah.
2008 -09-03 Mark Biltz; Pastor of El shaddai Ministries predicted Sept. 30, 2008 as the potential I day of the 2nd coming of Jesus based on four total lunar Eclipses that occur seven years.
1999-to-2009 Jerry Falwell: The Fundamentalist preacher who predicted in 1999 that the second coming would probably be within 10 years.
1994-09-06, 2011-05-21 and 2011 -10-21 Harold camping; General Manager of family Radio and Bible teacher Published a book, 1994?, a predication of Christ’s return was likely pointing to 1994 with the possibility that it will happen in 2011. He later claimed that the rapture would be on May 21, 2011 followed by the end of the world on October 21 of the same years.
2012-05-27 Ronald Weinland 2012 Jack van Impe Televangelist who has, over the years predicted many specific years and dates for the 2nd coming of Jesus, but has continued to move his prediction later. Many of the dates have already passed. Van Impe no longer coming, but quotes verses which imply that of the second coming, but quotes verses which imply that mankind should know when the second coming is near.
2012-07-19 Zerubbabel: Proclaimed that July 19, 2012 Yehshua return.
2022 Try Brooks; The day Jesus steps down on the mount of olives when the 1st and 2nd Temples were destroyed reign in the 3rd Temple)
2057 Frank J. Tipler: In his book which he wrote in the year 2007 he asserts in the first chapter within 50 years, i.e. by 2057.

THE TRUE COMING OF JESUS CHRIST
2001 Simon Youze; while reading the Bible God Revealed to him the secret of His coming. Jesus Christ is coming on the 7th day, the Holy day of the Lord. On the Midnight of the Sabbath Jesus will appear from the clouds and every eye from every Religion, and every atheist will fall down and worship Him.
(No one knows on which Seventh day Sabbath it will be when Jesus Christ will come from the sky. Mathew 24:36) By Simon Youze

E. Wayne Shepperd Passes Away:

E. Wayne Shepperd, Jr., born June 20, 1935, in Los Angeles, California, to Elbert W. Shepperd, Sr., and Naomi E. Owens, passed to his rest on February 6, 2018, in Austin, Texas.

Shepperd graduated from Los Angeles Academy in 1953; Oakwood College in 1957 with degrees in history and theology; and from seminary at Andrews University in 1966. He was ordained in 1967. On July 19, 1958, he married Joyce Montgomery. The couple would have three childre...n: Wayne, Eric, and Tony.

Shepperd entered denominational employment in 1961 as a principal and teacher at Ephesus Junior Academy in New Orleans, La., for the Southwest Region Conference. He then pastored in Tyler, Texas, before becoming the Southwest Region's Education Director in 1967. In 1973, Shepperd became Chaplain for Andrews University, and in 1975, became the Youth Director for the Lake Union Conference.

He returned to Texas in 1979 to become the Youth Director for the Southwestern Union. In 1982, the position of Association Secretary was added to his responsibilities, and in 1985, he became Vice President of the Southwestern Union.

In 1987, Shepperd received a call to the North Pacific Union as Youth Director where he served until 1993, when he was called to the Pacific Union as Vice President, where he remained until his retirement in 2005.

Throughout his career, Shepperd was noted for his kindness, infectious smile, and authentic concern for others, as well as an enthusiasm for colorful neckties and his vintage Ford Mustang. Sali Butler, Administrative Assistant of the Pacific Union Conference, recalls that, every morning before starting the day, Shepperd would walk the building to speak to all of the secretaries.

"He would catch up with our lives, children, and pray with us if a specific circumstance called for it. He would reach for our hand, bow his head, and pray," says Butler.

In his retirement, Shepperd and his wife, Joyce, lived near family in Austin, Texas and was an active member of the Alpha Seventh-day Adventist Church in Round Rock, Texas.

There’s a hole in the world tonight…
It’s with a heavy heart that I let you all know that my Father suddenly passed away this morning. He was quite simply the best Dad ANYONE could ever ask for.
