Given the winter weather advisory for the Canton area and the winter storm warning for the Plattsburgh area, the basketball playoffs involving both the Canton girls and boys’ basketball teams scheduled for this evening at SUNY Plattsburgh have been postponed until tomorrow evening, Thursday, March 8. The girls' game is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm with the boys' game following at 7:45 pm.

On Tuesday night, Canton Central’s Declan Porter joined OFA’s Kinnon LaRose as the only juniors to be honored by the NNY Boys Basketball Officials Board with the Joe Jukoski Memorial Award.
