He spoke about his plans as the new chief of police and outreach to the community during “Coffee with the Chief” monthly meet and greets. Welcoming him is Club President Cathrine Olivier and Kiwanian Jamie Castille.

Our guest speaker will be Chuck Morgan, he will be discussing the "Origins of Thanksgiving in America". Thank you, Shanese Lewis, Executive Director of the St. Martin Parish Council on Aging, whom joined us as our guest speaker for our September 27th evening meeting. She spoke about the St. Martin Council on Aging and what it provides for the senior citizens of St. Martin Parish such as transportation, Meals on Wheels, utility assistance, and other services helpful to senior citizens. She also spoke about the upcoming October 14th election. There will be a special election for St. Martin Parish to authorize the levy of a special tax for the purpose of providing funding for senior citizens programs, activities, services and facilities operated by the St. Martin Council on Aging in both Upper and Lower St. Martin Parish.
