We are in our second year at St Michael & continue to be blessed. I am so happy with our Catholic school education, both in means of classroom curriculum and atmosphere as well as the compassionate an...d genuine care that we have received from the teachers. My 3 children have thrived and developed, and have loved making their new friends. Though we are excited for the upcoming Central Catholic excitement next year, we are also quite happy to still be rooted in St Mikes: we're not ready to completely move on :) One going to high school is rough enough (wahhh!)

My parents were part of the original St. Michael's Parish Planning Committee. We all attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the first church and school. I am proud to say that I, along with my
bro...ther and sister, attended all eight years of grade school there.
St.Michael's was a wonderful part of our lives
and still is today.

Proud to be an alumni.

The education I received as a child at St. Michael's was excellent!! A warm and nurturing environment where personalities, minds, and spirits are guided with a strong Judeo-Christian philosophy and ed...ucational plan. I am so very thankful to my parents for sending me to St. Michael's and Central Catholic high school. What a wonderful place to learn!! See More

Why is it that only I can see my review? Leaving this school changed my child's life 100% for the better! One of the best decision I ever made as a parent.

The students at St. Michael's are A+ in my book! From the Legos cross and the "where did you go this summer" display to the teachers and staff...This is a school I would send my children to. Thank you... St. Michael's for allowing me to come into your lives! I look forward to seeing you all again soon! Thank you for your ongoing posts on christopher milo dot com !

They care, love and lead by example. And most important they allow God to be part of their environment and part of the kids everyday lives.

We kicked off Catholic Schools Week Friday with an all school rally. Student Council demonstrated some little known Olympic sports, and the junior high basketball teams challenged the teachers to a free throw contest.

Here is one of the clips from "The Local Vocal" Show Choir! They performed a Christmas program the other evening and they were fabulous! This choir consists of students from all Holy Cross Schools, but almost half are St Michaels students! If your child would love something like this they are going to have a spring performance and they can join now!

At this year's Men Who Cook, several of our chefs, in addition to donating and preparing all that wonderful food, gave the leftovers to Community Harvest, a program of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. During that SAME weekend, St. Michael’s Life Teen participants helped raise over $1250 during “Souper Bowl of Caring” for Community Harvest. When the “Souper Bowl” revenue is added to the 310 pounds of excess food collected after Men Who Cook the night before, St. Michael Catholic School and Parish community helped provide access to 5,300 complete meals for children and families struggling with hunger in Stark County! That is a tremendous accomplishment considering everything going on in ONE WEEKEND!

We had a wonderful presentation from the Akron Zoo today to kick off Catholic Schools Week. In addition, students received green and white sugar cookies, and had the opportunity to purchase suckers from our Student Council members.
