• Joe Guley received an additional PE license in WV, and Steve Becca and Jingan Wang both received an additional PE license in PA
• Mike Cohen received his E.I.T. license...
• Jingan Wang obtained an Asphalt Mix Design certification
• Carl Medvid received his PennDOT Certified Drilling Inspector certification
• Ryan Johnson completed his Soil & Aggregate Compaction Test, Asphalt Field and Compaction Technician Test, PCC Inspector with ACI Training Test through the WVDOT Department of Highways
• Jonathan Efaw received his ASPRS Mapping Scientist certification
• Kelby Napolillo passed his Project Management Associates Curriculum tests
Stahl Sheaffer’s Environmental Project Manager, Jason Reed, assisted at the DuBois Area Middle School's 8th grade Environmental Day at Camp Mountain Run for the third year in a row. Jason assisted at the macroinvertebrate sampling station, instructing students on sampling techniques and how the types of in-stream insect life can indicate the quality of water of a stream. This year, Eric Carlson of the Allegheny Mountain Chapter of Trout Unlimited headed the station. Jason is also a member of this organization, which strives to conserve, protect, and restore coldwater fisheries and their watersheds in Clearfield, Jefferson, and surrounding PA counties.

Our 2017 Youth Service Bureau Tailgate at Penn State was a huge success! July 20th kicked off Stahl Sheaffer’s first summer office party in North Canton. The guys had a lunch time BBQ where they all brought food to cook out and enjoy the beautiful summer weather. Stahl Sheaffer’s Morgantown office followed with a tailgate party at the WV, Black Bears vs State College Spikes minor league baseball game. Everyone had a great time tailgating, watching the game, and finishing off the evening with a fireworks show at the stadium!
Yesterday, Stahl Sheaffer's State College, Selinsgrove, and Clearfield offices celebrated their summer picnic at Tussey Mountain. Activities included golfing, paddle boat rides, go-kart rides, a bounce house, and more!
We would like to give special recognition to all our engineers today. On August 8th, it will be 110 years since the first professional engineering license was issued.
