Such a stunning location! We loved our campsite and the swim beach, but our favorite part was actually boating on the lake; our pontoon rental was well worth it!

Nice day trip from Steamboat Springs. Really beautiful drive, the visitor center is wonderful. Nicest staff, and very helpful. Directed us to a loop around the lake, which we really enjoyed. Saw lots ...of wild life, ranches, and scenic beauty. See More

I've Been going there sense I was born. Every summer with all my family. It's an amazing place,so beautiful. The campers are nice, the employees are great, and it's incredibly safe so you can enjoy th...e experience. It's like a summer camp with lots to do day and night. I highly recommend this place because it's a place I can call like my second home. It's a place that I look forward to going every summer and every other chance we get. See More

This is a great fishing and recreational boating lake. They have a nice marina, two boat ramp areas. Water skiing area is separate from fishing areas. Great hiking trails and mountain views. Super spots for all size rigs and tenting. Downtown Steamboat is 20 minutes away and there are close by convenience country stores which sell the esentials. See More

Great campground! Could use some more shade but it's not their fault the trees all died.

Great access to water activities, boat rental, and trout fishing! Also enjoyed being near hiking trails. Wo...uld defiantly come back! See More

So pretty and the Visitor Center is awesome. I could sit in those rocking chairs in front of that big window with my knitting all day long.

It's a bit of a drive from Steamboat proper but definitely worth it. Highly recommend seeing the 4th of July fireworks display from this location!

The high winds yesterday brought out the Snow Kiters!!
That's not snow. It's frost falling out of the trees! The sun is out and the temperature is above zero. What more could you ask for?
