Had the pleasure of creating this masterpiece, a Century 40 Fiberglass bottom/Carbon top with a Tiger theme. Herman B. from Alaska ordered with an idea in mind, and it came alive. Bright oranges, tiger stripes top and bottom, with an orange tint to top it off.

Lets create the board you've always wanted

Seattle Garage Series | Race 2 | Hosted by Subsonic

This time, we hope to stay till the end.

Race 2 | Event details:

...

Back at the same garage as the first, with plans to not alert the security. This garage is Beginner Friendly. Wide corners, lower speeds, and no traffic. Don't worry, skaters will be at the limit while racing, creating exciting racing for all.

Parking:
Since last time didn't go perfectly, let's not park at the structure this time. If we're respectful, then maybe we can continue to come back.

Search for Jack in the Box or Starbucks that is nearby. Thats where we usually park away from the building. Short walking distance and off the land of the garage.

Series details:

Dec 16th is the second race in the Seattle Garage Series. From dancing to downhill, park to cruising, all are welcome to come and rip it up with your friends. Racing is not mandatory, but highly suggested.

This series is simple. We hold several racing styles at each event, you can pick which races (or all) that you want to compete in, you gather points based on finalists. At the end of the event, your points will be tallied, continuing to the next event. After a set number of races (TBD), the top three finishers will get bragging rights.

At the end of each event, there will be a small podium with signature trophies for the top 3 skaters with the most points.

Racing styles can include, but not limited to: Chinese Downhill, 6-man random bracket, Switch stance, Board Swap, Boner stance, Old-School Tuck.

These races will be all over the Northwest, from Bellingham to Portland in hopes to mesh the community together more frequently. There will be plenty of notice before the next race, hoping more than a month out. Missing out on an event will mean less chance for points! That can matter when it comes down to the finals in the early months of 2018.

At the end of the night, there is a small podium for the top three people with the most points. So stay as long as you can to have the most fun with the homies.

As usual, please bring required safety gear and skate in your limit. These events are meant to get everyone out of their skating comfort zone and hone in new skills.

Let's get to racing!

Last month, we threw a garage race in the Seattle Area, the first of many. Matt McDonald came through with photos and an amazing article on Skate[Slate]] to showcase the series.

Thank you to all came out, was more fun than expected. And we didn't even run all the races planned!!

Please come around for the next one, Dec. 16th. Should be at the same location, without getting busted this time.

Our One-of-a-Kind section has gotten rather large. Help us get these boards out to a loving home!

The top row of boards are painted exclusively by Turnco, who has collaborated with Subsonic for years. Each board is unlike the rest, and fits perfect with the handmade-nature of our boards.

There are many discounts on these boards for how long they have been sitting, all checked over for quality. Take a closer look to each of these boards on our website, in the One-of-a-Kind and.../or TurnCo Sections.

Coming soon, the Century 36. This here is a color test, with the shape and mold set. A smaller Hybrid Push/Pump board, flexing just right.

Similar to the Century 40, this shorter version sports a 1" drop, 9.25-9" taper with hips, 23" effective foot platform, 5* wedge nose, 12* dewedge tail.

A shorter Century for the smaller stance'd riders out there.
