46th ANNUAL LODGE OWNERS RENDEZVOUS
Hello 2017 Lodge Owners Rendezvous family,
It’s now Fall, and that means it's time to make our plans to get together and cel...ebrate Thanksgiving, while enjoying Tipi life. Please take time now to get your name(s) in to reserve your spot for this year's Rendezvous. I need you to fill out the attached form, enclose payment, and mail back to me, so we may update our hosts at Walt Disney World, of our group’s plan.

WHEN: November 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26, 2017

WHERE: WALT DISNEY WORLD – Proceed to Ft. Wilderness, (check-in time is 1:00 pm) and check in. (I will pick up our ID items for the entire group when I arrive Sunday afternoon). Then proceed to Creekside Meadow Group Campground to set up your lodge. The Creekside Meadow area is for TIPI’S only! No exceptions. Any guest you wish to invite to join you in your tipi is permitted and encouraged, but please be sure they are registered even if for one night. We always welcome day visitors as well.

THANKSGIVING DINNER will begin at 3:00 pm, on Thursday. Bring your own dinner “fixings" and beverages, everything except for the TURKEY. We will secure and pit roast the turkeys, as we do each year. See reservation form for more details and the cost for dinner. I understand we will be bringing back the scavenger hunt again shortly following dinner???

DISNEY CAMPING DEADLINE: Please mail your RSVP form back to me before October 31st. The camping cost is $13.00 PER PERSON, PER NIGHT (age 6 and up). The cost helps cover having the entire group campground for all 7 nights again this year. The ice we use for our stay is also included in this pricing.

GROUND FIRES ARE NOT PERMITTED: If you want a tipi fire, bring a metal trash can lid and bricks to set it on to build your fire above ground. We want to keep the Rendezvous as authentic as possible, so canvas tarps and wood poles are requested.

FIREWOOD: The cost for wood is now $100 per bundle. If interested in buying wood from Disney for campfires, please send an additional $100 for each bundle of wood. Several families may want to get together and share the cost of purchased wood. I will place the wood order with our reservation so they will have it ready for us. All Disney wood orders need to go through me for our stay during this event, in the case of additional wood is needed.

This information is also updated on the Facebook page. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in meeting the deadline for camping reservations, food and firewood. We request that you write "one check" to cover everything for your family's plans. Rebecca, Chase, and I are looking forward to spending time with you and your families again this year. Travel safe.
