This is where I get stuck. Not eating is easy but deciding when to start eating is the tough part! Seriously! Especially if I'm not cooking something I'm dying to eat, once you hit day 2-3 of fasting, your hunger hormones turn off. I'm at 43hrs. I can easily go until tomorrow. I guess I'll decide at dinner time.

The good thing about fasting that eating plain lettuce sounds so good right now! It really changes your taste buds.

My goal was to drop my blood sugar (accomplished...) and get my ketones higher in preparation for my Ragnar Relay race May 11.

I also have a LOT of inflammation from our vacation in England. I couldn't resist those croissants. 😋 It will take a few days but hopefully the ketones will reduce the inflammation in my joints and leg. 🙂

Tick season is upon us. This video is not for tick squeamish but I got through it. I've had a tick on me already this season.

My husband has done the drag the cloth over the yard and found ticks. It's a good way to find where your tick reservoirs are. For us, it was the rock wall where the chipmunks live. They are the vectors for ticks near your house.


Dave sprayed the yard last week but with all of this rain, it will have to be done again this weekend.
