Dragon 100 (龍匯100) 2013 Call for Nominations

The Dragon Foundation is pleased to announce the Dragon 100 (龍匯100) 2013. It will take place from 9-17 August 2013 in Hong Kong and Taiwan, focusing on the theme of“Chinese Culture : Continuity and Innovation”. We would like to invite you to nominate participants who are outstanding potential Chinese leaders aged 18-35 with demonstrated leadership skills, an excellent academic record, talent in non-academic areas and a commitment t...o serve the community. The closing date for nominations is 25 May 2013.

The annual Dragon 100 Young Chinese Leaders Forum was initiated by the Dragon Foundation in 2002. Since then it has brought together 100 youth leaders of Chinese origin from around the world every year. Intended as a platform for sharing views and generating synergy, it provides stimulus for innovation, enthusiasm and commitment. The Dragon 100 (龍匯100) 2013 would be the programme’s 10th anniversary. To reunite past participants and create further synergy, an 10th Anniversary Conference and a Reunion Dinner will be held in Hong Kong for 2013 delegates as well as past delegates.

China has gone through enormous changes and progress in social and economic institutions over centuries and also the migration of her people around the world, yet her culture remains its essence and as a common language to let ethnic Chinese identify their origin and get united for any common concern. Taiwan is a typical place of succeeding traditional Chinese culture and also demonstrating vigor to instill new elements to let Chinese culture flourish in different aspects, where delegates will have the opportunity to review and appreciate the cultural heritage in a creative perspective.
