La Vie En Rose
This painting was inspired by the song, "La Vie En Rose", that was written and sang by French singer Edith Piaf in 1945. It became one of the most popular songs after World War 2 because of its inspiring lyrics.
La vie en rose is translated as looking at life through pink or rose- colored glasses. It is a state of bliss when all around us is a source of joy. It is celebrating love and looking at things in a positive light. It is projecting our inner happiness knowing that life is truly wonderful.
