BALI ESTELA- Art and Interiors "Having sojourned for long periods abroad, I found my personal idyll in my hometown Iba. The cozy and rustic atmosphere of this venerable home reflects my own character, while it also showcases items I have collected over the years from my travels in countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Egypt, Turkey, and the Middle East. The garden of the house contains countless plants. Having been born and raised in the countryside, I gladly take my inspiration from nature. A stroll through the house's interior and garden demonstrates the simplicity and cheerfulness on which my designs are based." PAINTING ICONIC BAGS A new trend has emerged and it is all about doing graffiti, doodling, or painting on a birkin Hermes bag or on any iconic bag. The objective is to take an icon of consumerism and change it, make it different and more personalized instead of being boring and clean. I give joy to my clients by creating colorful, original, and intricate paintings on their bags.
WHEN ART AND FOOD UNITE AT BUGONG Art can complement a restaurant, or it can be a feature. A piece of sculpture or a painting brings another dimension to the dining experience as it creates a talking point. "Usapang Babae" and "A Shy Girl and a Watchful Mother", two of my early Filipiniana paintings, enhance the total ambiance of Bugong restaurant at Los Banos, Laguna. Bugong is one ultimate place for dining. It is famous for its savory roasted chicken, Asian fusion dishes, and fresh healthy salads. It is also known for its eighteen herbs and spices. Their staff are always cheerful and readily provides efficient service to the clients. Bugong Restaurant has five branches which are in Los Banos, Calamba, Makati, BGC, and Paranaque.

"Dancing with Birds" is bound for San Antonio, Texas. Thank you to my new art patrons, Charles Canestaro and Louie Montserrat.

La Vie En Rose

This painting was inspired by the song, "La Vie En Rose", that was written and sang by French singer Edith Piaf in 1945. It became one of the most popular songs after World War 2 because of its inspiring lyrics.

La vie en rose is translated as looking at life through pink or rose- colored glasses. It is a state of bliss when all around us is a source of joy. It is celebrating love and looking at things in a positive light. It is projecting our inner happiness knowing that life is truly wonderful.
