Hi all!...
It's that time of year again! FRC Team 2489, a district FRC team, is recruiting members. We welcome anyone interested in joining our team! Anyone interested in robotics should come to our orientation this Saturday. The orientation will be held at the PlaySpace (2215 Oakland Rd - Suite B, San Jose, CA 95131) from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. Food will be provided! smile emoticon This Friday, we will be having a meeting at lunch, where we will accepting sign ups and answering questions about orientation. At orientation, we will be giving information on our team and the robots we build and we will be sharing some of our future plans of our team. We have also set up booths for programming, design, and build where you can experience all our team has to offer. You will also have time to drive our champion robot, which went to Worlds! We encourage you to come and get to know more information about our team. FRC challenges tend to be more action packed and larger scale than FIRST Robotics Programs. Even if you are completely new to robotics, our veteran members will help guide you. The game will be released in January so FTC members can join as well. PM me to RSVP. For people who can't get a ride there, we will be providing a carpool, that leaves from Mission Coffee that can hold a max of 7 people, so RSVP as soon as possible. If you want a carpool, let me know and I will add you on the carpool list.
