Did you feel the cool weather this morning? Maybe autumn isn't so far away after all.
Now if only someone could explain this "pumpkin spice" thing to me....

Rain never slows things down at the trail. Glad to see everyone still out visiting nature among the raindrops. Everything is so green now!

The snowstorm has left a beautiful knee-high blanket over the trail. The white snow shimmers in the sunlight. It's beautiful from up here.

Feeling the first chilly winds of winter up here. The seasons never stop changing.

The first few yellow leaves have fallen onto me this week. You know what that means... the spirit of autumn is just around the corner.

Is anyone else feeling frozen?

We've been blessed with warmer weather, but get ready for some cold winter chills.

It is a beautiful day for a walk or hike around the park! Challenge yourself and attempt to catch falling leaves before they touch the ground.

Fall has begun to descend upon the trail once more, along with the leaves of many colors that signify another change. He who is resistant to change is destined to perish. Embrace it, for it is good and it is beautiful.

Treat the earth well.
It was not given to you by your parents,
it was loaned to you by your children.
We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors,
we borrow it from our Children.

The weather is warming up again, which means we can all look forward to great days on the Wissahickon trail once more! Grab a friend or some family and come have an adventure!

It has been a wonderful, and rather wet, summer here at the trail! This weekend seems like a great time to visit and see the beauty of the Wissahickon from my perch. You're invited!

Winter winds have blown in the first snow of the season!

The leaves have shifted their colors and have left their branches, carried in search of new adventures by the wind. The trail is a kaleidoscope of colors for all to see. Why don't you go outside today and see for yourself?

Its such a nice afternoon here at the trail. The birds and the butterflies frequent the woods with a quiet rustle and the passerby all look like they are enjoying nature at its finest. Why don't you come and join us?

Soft summer rains patter down, healing the plant and animal life here at the trail after the sun took its toll last week. Everything is beautiful here.

The cool river and the warm weather are attracting more and more people to the trail every day. Why don't you grab a friend or your family and head down to Forbidden Drive this weekend? Its going to be beautiful!
