It's taken me some time and experimentation to decide on what colors to use for Brownie and Dandelion Unwin's figures, but I've pretty much settled on it now. When they're done, I think I'll want to give Nyx Oakley some light felt wings to make her more posable, then maybe brush up Xylia a bit, and then I'll start taking the photos for Episode 2's cast page.
In the meantime, why not check out how The Timber River Project's been going? It's 20 episodes strong by now.
The proofreading for Episode 2 is done. I just have to make a few more action figures for the character profile section, then assemble everything into a Microsoft Word document.
Training for my new job as a caretaker has been eating up my time, energy, and attention span though. I have 8 online courses to finish by January 21st. After studying how the courses work, my plan is to read through the digital textbooks I was given and takes notes on them. That'll give me the freedom to learn everything at my own pace, making completing the slow lectures and written assignments a formality.
Since Episode 2 is almost done, It'll probably be released after December 18, the date of the skills lab I have to attend. Or maybe I should set an official release date, like January 1st, 2015? Could people get hyped about that?
Things sure have been quiet around here. I do have an explanation though if you just watch this video.
I just finished one of my biggest projects ever, and it even got featured by Sacheverell, the Minecraft community manager. It feels like it's my birthday!

I tweeted today about the shocking whiplash that is the death of Robin Williams and it seems to be catching fire.
Please, spread this around as far as you can for the sake of anyone who's ever been depressed.
Well, I seem to have hit a stride of uploading a new episode of The Timber River Project every ten days, which isn't quite as quick as I would like, but it could be a whole lot worse. This time, my good luck charm is Fancy Pants Man, star of The Fancy Pants Adventures.
Building and inventing is great, but sometimes it's nice to get out and see the world. With that in mind, here's the latest episode of The Timber River Project.
Don't celebrate the 4th with explosions. Stay nice and safe with The Timber River Project instead.
Tales from the Creature Keeper: Survival Critters has gotten its first review on Smashwords, and it's a positive one! Congratulations, James Jenkins, on being the first total stranger to enjoy my work enough to talk about it!
Dang, no one should have to go over a week without an episode of The Timber River Project, don't you think?
I had a lot of fun recording this episode of The Timber River Project. And by fun, I mean dying a lot.
So I went to setup my Scribd page to promote my work, and the site seems to think I've published one more book than I actually have. Specifically, it recognizes me as the author of Tales from the Creature Keeper Episode 1: Trapped in Town, Tales from the Creature Keeper: Survival Critters, and... Atheism: A Believer's Guide.
The funny thing is, I'd feel just as uncomfortable if it was Christian literature because I take great pains to not come across as brazen. I'm more like ...C. S. Lewis, who was kinda like Edmund Blackadder if he had been a believer. He chose to follow God because he felt there just wasn't any other reasonable alternative to the idea that God is actually God, and sure enough, his relationship with his creator gave him a window into the hearts of men everywhere, and what he saw only served to sharpen his wit and intelligence.
Ver maisThis being the week of E3, I've been especially distracted and busy. But have another episode of The Timber River Project in the meantime.
Man, it's been a while since the last episode of The Timber River Project, hasn't it? Take a look at the latest episode where I fail to cure zombie villagers and do a whole lot of mining and exploring.
I've got other stuff I want to share still, but it'll have to wait until tomorrow. Today is an important day of activism. Reset the net!
Well, after some mysterious technical difficulties with this page, I am happy to report that Survival Critters is now published on Smashwords! And it'll cost you nothing! It will be free for as long as I am able to keep it that way.
It'll probably be showing up on Amazon too. I don't yet know if they allow you to publish free books, but I'd be surprised if they didn't, and I want to wait until the book gets into Smashwords' premium catalog first. That will tell me that the book contains no overlooked errors or stupid mistakes, that it will be perfectly ready to distribute on any other avenue I explore.
Here's the cover for Survival Critters. I kinda like the spooky vibe even though the story isn't scary at all. Major thanks to Lorne S. Kennedy for making the collage for me.
