"Freedom Is Not Free": A Memorial Day Tribute and Poem:

Freedom Is Not Free, by Kelly Strong

"I watched the flag pass by one day....
It fluttered in the breeze.
A young Marine saluted it,
and then he stood at ease.
I looked at him in uniform
So young, so tall, so proud,
He'd stand out in any crowd.
I thought how many men like him
Had fallen through the years.
How many died on foreign soil?
How many mothers' tears?
How many pilots' planes shot down?
How many died at sea?
How many foxholes were soldiers' graves?
No, freedom isn't free.

I heard the sound of TAPS one night,
When everything was still
I listened to the bugler play
And felt a sudden chill.
I wondered just how many times
That TAPS had meant "Amen,"
When a flag had draped a coffin
Of a brother or a friend.
I thought of all the children,
Of the mothers and the wives,
Of fathers, sons and husbands
With interrupted lives.
I thought about a graveyard
At the bottom of the sea
Of unmarked graves in Arlington.
No, freedom isn't free"

To all veterans and your family members- Thank you for your service!

The Greatest Mission Field in the world today is the Church. It's time to clean up God's house from false prophets and Biblical illiteracy.

"For it is time for judgment to begin with God's household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?"- I Peter 4:17

Question: How any pastors and Christian leaders from Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee follow the Page?

There is a great movement of God in these States taking shape.

Please email me at stacyswimp@stacyswim if you are a pastor or lead a Christian organization in one of these states.

Prayers Requested for the Families of the Victims in Fort Hood Army Base, For Those Injured, and For All of Our Men and Women in Uniform.

No words could ever truly be adequate to thank men and women in the Armed Forces for their service and sacrifice to our Republic.

Please don't forget to pray today for the families of those killed on Fort Hood Army Base yesterday, as well as for those injured and their families as well.

Let us also pray for our men and women in uniform around the world, along with their families.

Thank you for your agreement in this prayer effort.

(Note: Reports say that an Iraq War veteran being treated for mental illness is responsible for the shooting on Fort Base yesterday:…/ft-hood-shooting-that-left-four-d…/)

It is by By Faith and Obedience to God (Not via Political ideologues) That We Can Remove The Threat To Freedom in America!

"For verily I say unto you, That who...soever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."- Mark 11:23

The 14th Amendment was created by the Republican Party To Ensure and Protect the Citizenship Rights of Black Americans- Not to Break Down The Institution of Mar...riage!

The 14th Amendment was created by the Republican Party of the 19th Century for ONE PURPOSE: To nullify the holding of the United States Supreme Court in Dred Scott v. Sandford, 19 How. 404 (1856).

Dred Scott, while still a slave, sued for his freedom in 1847. Ten years later, after years of appeals and court reversals, his case was brought before the SCOTUS.

The decision of the court was read in March of 1857.

The SCOTUS ruled that everyone of African ancestry -- slaves as well as those who were free -- could never become citizens of the United States.

The SCOTUS also ruled that, since Blacks could never be true citizens, we had no right to file lawsuits in court.

Finally, the SCOTUS ruled that the federal government did not have the power to prohibit slavery in its territories. Hence, Dred Scott remained a slave directly after the ruling.

However, after the ruling of the SCOTUS, the sons of Peter Blow, who were childhood friends of Scott, purchased the freedom of Scott and his wife and set them free.

Nine months later, Dred Scott died.

Eleven years later, on July 28, 1868, the 14th Amendment to the United States Constitution was ratified.

The amendment grants citizenship to "all persons born or naturalized in the United States" which included former slaves who had just been freed after the Civil War.

The 14th Amendment became known as the Known the "Reconstruction Amendment," as it was created specifically to forbid any state from denying Black Americans "life, liberty or property, without due process of law'.

It was also created to help prevent states from denying Black Americans "equal protection of the laws."

In the final analysis, the Republican Party created the 14th Amendment to ensure and protect the citizenship of Black Americans.

Not to foster rejection of traditional American values and certainly not to use the 14th Amendment as a false argument in destroying the institution of family as established by God.

Separation of Church and State Is A Violation of the Vision of the Founders of the United States of America!

"Thomas Jefferson had no intention of allowing the... government to limit, restrict, regulate, or interfere with public religious practices. He believed, along with other Founders, that the First Amendment had been enacted only to prevent the federal establishment of a national denomination."- David Barton, "The Original Intent", Page 51, "The Misleading Metaphor of Separation of Church and State"

Happy Birthday Mrs. Obama!

A happy birthday regards to Mrs. Michelle Obama, the first lady of the United States of America.

I pray for the President, Mrs. Obama and their children daily, in accordance with the Word of God, out of the sincerity of my heart.

"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;"- I Timothy 2:1-3

Be a blessing and a comfort to someone today!

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."- II Corinthians 2:3,4

Friends, we are indeed Blessed and Comforted by the Lord, so that we can be a blessing and comfort to others.

Nothing like a personal testimony of what God has done in and through our lives, to assure others He can do the same in and through their lives.

Be a blessing and a comfort to someone today!
