LADUE, Mo - The St. Louis LGBTQ and ally community rallied by the hundreds outside John Burroughs School, on Monday, in support of openly gay student-athlete, ...Jake Bain, who was being protested by the infamous Westboro Baptist Church.
Counter protesters far outnumbered the approximate one-dozen members of the Kansas based hate group, who eventually left. Supporters waved signs and rainbow flags as music played to drown out the negative messages. [Photography by Philip Deitch].
