St Patrick’s Day at The Legend was excellent! Food was delicious, service was on point, and they serve the best Irish Whiskey available (West Cork Bourbon Cask). A great time, in a jovial atmosphere, ...and a massive shout of appreciation to Courtney and her staff. See More

I love this place. Food's great, the atmosphere is fun and lighthearted, the drinks are plenty, and the live music is cool when it's there. Closest place to a real Irish pub I've ever been to outside ...of Ireland. See More

I went into the restaurant tonight with my toddler to pick up a to go order and oh my goodness was the bartender at the first bar (closest to the front of the restaurant) rude! I asked for a side of r...anch and she acted so annoyed. When she came back with the cup of ranch she just sat in down, didn't look me in the face, tell me to have a nice day or anything. It's common courtesy to just be a polite human being, as I was to her. I know it's not unusual but it's not that common to tip a server or bartender when picking up a to go order, but I always do Bc I used to work in the industry. Presumably she didn't think being nice was necessary seeing as how she assumed she Wouldn't be making a tip off of me, which she didn't due to her poor attitude. See More

Fun and authentic interior, perfect spot right on Archer at the edge of the forest preserve. Outside deck could use an update, seating is tattered and dated. Food and service was superb.

The athmosphere is enough to give it four stars,Who would like the outdoor patio with a waterfall or the wood decor and great fireplace indoors. I had to compliment the barmaid who was an attractive p...olite lady on how tasty their fries were, I mean most restaurants fries Ijust eat because they are there, these are good, really good anyone who doesn't like this place most work at another restaurant and is a hater.I can't give it 5 stars only because that is reserved for a place called heaven. Worst service ever!!!!! We asked at least 5 times for our bill. Even after telling the server we are leaving if you don't bring the bill NOW, we waited at least another 15 minutes. We actually left th...e bar and sat outside. Then as we had had enough and were walking towards the door, did she run after us with the receipt. Although not completely her fault, the place was busy and she was among 2 servers running around. The food was delicious. For that I give 5⭐️⭐️ See More

I've been here many times with family and friends. Always a great time. Excellent food (especially the Irish nachos) and drinks, both reasonably priced. The service is fast and friendly. Had my Grands...on's first birthday celebration in the events annex. Everything went off exactly as planned. Don't hesitate to stop in for a good time and some great food. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ See More

My Husband told me he was taking me to this place he saw along his route from work. I asked him where and he said it was a surprise. I never imagined a place like Irish Legend. So warm and inviting.... Being an Irish girl I immediately fell in love with the décor. The fireplace is amazing! I had to sample the food so we ordered the shrimp and a sampler with fried pickles, mozzarella sticks and chicken wings. All so good. Drank a few drinks and snapped some pics. After reading about the history of the pub I loved it even more. We will definitely be back for more. See More

Excellent food and great place to meet with a group of friends! We've always enjoyed it, and make it our go-to for our quarterly girls' night. Unfortunately, the last time we visited, the service wa...s horrible. It was a Wednesday evening, and it was not at all busy...but she was non-existent. We sat for over 15 minutes before she approached us, had to stand up and waive her down (unsuccessfully) 3 times, and actually had to get up and track her down twice. She was nice enough when she did come over and we've had her before with much better service...she spent a great deal of time talking to her friend/boyfriend at the table across the room from us. Hopefully, it was just an off night for her. See More

Might be okay to go for a few cocktails, but don't bring more than 10 people to eat. Was very disappointed in the service. We had about 24 tops people there after a funeral for a luncheon and could get like 3 orders served to us at a time. Ordered food by 12:30 pm and the last person, my cousin, who brought everyone there for her dad's funeral luncheon was the last one to get served at about 2:00 p.m. And the worst part was, they called the day ahead to let them know they would be bringing in a crowd of people and there wasn't enough help. Very, very disappointed! :( See More
