Yesterday i was in line to purchase snacks at the movies. There appeared to be one line that the 2 cashiers were assisting customers from. However the line without customers was allowing random peopl...e to walk up and purchase snacks while thr cashier continued looking at the long line and smirking? I waited patiently along with everyone else thinking okay, it was an oversight, but when it happened again i decided to get in the short line because the older couple in front of me was next to be served. The couple saw me move and immediately gave me a serious tongue lashing in which the clerk saw as funny! I explained that i was not trying to cut line but merely wanted to ensure that i would be served next without having to address another random person walking up. The older couple said very hurtful and racist comments that i attempted to calm down by immediately allowing her to be served next. She continued her ranting with the cashier while he engaged her and smirked? I was livid because the cashier could have taken responsibility by apologizing for not pulling from the line and therefore diffusing the older couples anger and my embarrassment!! I addressed the cashier after the couple left and he firmly and rudely stated very aggressively that he apologized!?? I reported the situation to the manager Robert, who stated he would speak to the young man on protocol in handling the line to prevent this from happening again. However, I was in the same theatre as the abusive couple who continued to make remarks before i moved my seat. Landmark, my movie experience was tainted and not enjoyable due to the harassment of this older couple and the poorly trained cashier!. I didn't enjoy the film because I was so upset and felt very disrespected.

This is a great place to meet directors and artists involved in film. On Tuesday, the 19th of December, we were invited by mediacorp to view the film, The Darkest Hour, starring Gary Oldman as Winston... Churchill. The director mr. Wright and Gary Oldman we're both present after the film and gave a short and sweet commentary and Q&A which was greatly appreciated by us. The theater is fantastically groomed and the seats are luxurious. I would highly recommend this Theatre for filmgoers! See More

They do just as good as any Arclight. Beer and wine, pizza, hot dogs, warm soft pretzels and standard fare. They host a lot of Q&As with directors and actors, which is something the nearby AMC doesn’t do.

The staff at the Landmark go above and beyond expectations! I had purchased tickets online a few weeks in advance but, the day before my showing, something came up and I wanted to change my tickets t...o a different time. I was not optimistic but I called to ask if this was possible.... it was and they made the change for me - what other movie theater does that? None that I know of!
Additionally, the facilities are always clean, and the staff are always courteous. All in all, an excellent movie going experience!

Quality has fallen off. The sounds from the movie next to us bleed through the walls. When I reported it they didn't care. The Landmark was much better. You pay more but you don't get as much as you u...se too. I'm finding it's not worth going there unless it's the only place. See More

By far, my favorite place to see a movie in Southern California. From the bar in the waiting area to the professionalism of the staff. Thank you for a wonderful experience, as usual.

The Landmark is great... the crowd is an older version of The Arclight Hollywood crowd.

In other words, fun and eccentric. You feel everyone around you is wanting to be engaged... thoughtful, as w...ell as being entertained! See More

Came to see The Promise (4:20pm show) & was surprised to see the entire front section vacant & everyone was given seats in the back section. What was that about? Another bathroom for women is sorely n...eeded, popcorn was a tad stale, an attendant standing by the exit gate wouldn't accept cash, so we could only use our credit card - $3 for being a few min past our 3 hr-limit even with validation was steep especially if u want to encourage people to stay and shop/eat. Place is always packed in the eves (better to come earlier in the day), has comfy seats & a great vibe. See More

Nice theather! I loved the movie introduction by the staff, it was a very nice touch! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the stale dry 🍿 popcorn! I asked for extra butter and to layer popcor...n in lieu of filling the bag first. But I only got butter on the top and the rest was bone dry no salt and not fresh at all... sad for such a nice place! See More

Comfortable and clean movie viewing experience. We enjoy buying a bottle of wine in the bar and taking it to our seats to sip while we watch.

This is a more upscale setting, so it costs a little m...ore than some other nearby theaters.

Several different capacity theaters from small and intimate with couch and recliner seating, to large auditorium with more traditional seats.

Easy parking in garage below theater. 3 hour validation, and discounted 5 hour parking to enjoy dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants or the mall before or after the movie.

A matinee at the Landmark in Pico is always so pleasant and worth the drive. It's relatively empty and their seating arrangements make you feel like you're at home. The staff are all very courteous,... nice and friendly. What's not to love? See More

Is SAG-Aftra screening of MANCHESTER By The Sea followed by a question-and-answer with Casey Affleck is what brought me to the Landmark... And I am so glad it did!

The first three hours of parking ar...e free and the location is very convenient to the 405 and 10 which makes it a perfect stop to avoid rush-hour traffic.
The employees were very friendly and there was in fast selection of snacks drinks and other films that I wanted to stay and you more!

"Demonstrates what can happen when a filmmaker takes on a well-worn cinematic subgenre - the dinner party gone horribly wrong - and strips it down to its blistering bare-bones essence." - Los Angeles Times

Over a fast and funny 71 minutes, Sally Potter's latest film “The Party” shows just how quickly a small microcosm of enlightened liberal society can descend into coke-snorting, face-smacking, gun-toting chaos. And the cast, highlighted by Kristin Scott Thomas and Patricia Clarkson, is superb.
