What a blast. Great people, great food, great music, great community of film lovers. More than anything though, it was well organized and the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful and friendly. We... felt valued as filmmakers, and met many new friends. I would happily attend this festival in the future, even if I don't have a film in it. See More

I really loved the film selections. They were outstanding. The cozy, personal style venues also made watching the films enjoyable. I can't wait for next year. 😀🍿

I went to the festival on Saturday and saw the Maya Angelou documentary. The film as well as the Q&A with the directors following the screening was absolutely outstanding!

Superb. Outstanding. One of a kind. Do whatever it takes to there. THIS is what film festivals are all about.

Join the MVFF and the MV Ag Society for a screening of A Painter Who Farms with Allen Whiting!

Though he is known more for his plein-air paintings of Island landscapes, Allen Whiting is a farmer who lives off the land, as his family has for twelve generations. Nowhere does he seem more at peace than when he is outside, farming or painting.
