October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The chance of a woman having invasive breast cancer is about 1 in 8. Breast cancer is one the most common cancer among American women. Getting mammograms regularly can lower the risk of dying from breast cancer.
WE WILL NEVER FORGET
Today Americans and the rest of the world woke up to the horror of the French terror attacks and the suffering of our brothers and sisters ...living there. She has been a strong ally of our democratic founding as well as a model for freedom and culture worldwide.
We are praying for your peace. God bless you and all the families that have been touched by this in our collective struggle for freedom. May the statue you carried to our shores long ago stand as a beacon of your courage in the face of such unspeakable tragedy. #PrayForParis

As always, I dedicate this and every issue to my mother, Freida Hawkins, who fought breast cancer for 18 years before going home. I love you SO MUCH and miss you, Mom.
