I was impressed with the staff at the Orlando. I forgot my charger, and they mailed it back. The room was large, clean and had a beautiful view of the Hollywood Hills. It's location is perfect. Whole ...Foods, restaurants, Starbucks, all in walking distance. The Beverly center and the Grove are just minutes away.
For my budget a couple of nights was affordable. I highly recommend it.

The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on and the staff were fantastic they could not do enough for you. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.......... my husband and I are doing a 10 week stay traveling all over the US and Canada and we are measuring the other hotels to the Orlando so far no one has measured up. Quiet, clean, comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. Extremely pleasant staff. I would stay here again if I came back to LA from down under.

Ok, just wow. The hotel is absolutely lovely, with very nice European styling and details. Outstanding beds. Exceptional service. The American Girl package was worth every penny. We had a really wonde...rful stay. My only criticism is that we would have liked some milk or juice at the continental breakfast for the kids (only coffee, tea and water were available), but that was a small inconvenience. I highly recommend this hotel. See More

This is the perfect location in the neighborhood. About a mile from Farmer's Market. Perfect to walk because then you can shop at all the funky boutiques and eat in the best restaurants. Maybe half mi...le to Cedars Sinai. I've walked it all! But on top of that, these are beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and very cozy and elegant. I've been staying here on and off for 2 years because of its closeness to the hospital, but we've stayed for the great atmosphere of this city. AND...the staff are just excellent and have always taken good care of us. I highly recommend this hotel among all the others nearby. Great price for what you get. See More

To start with, front office didn't know where to see my info on my passport. Then, they do not provide international adaptor for guests, otherwise they ask to buy from a gift shop for a simple adaptor... for 18$ while Target across sell for 8$! Such a ripped off. Worst thing is they don't refill the bottle of water daily but they do refill the coffee for the almost broken coffee machine, when we ask about water, front desk answer was: the bottle of water didn't include in your booking maam it is not written in your booking details... d'uh!! Which hotel would put bottle of water included or not in booking details?!?! So instead of extending my stay here for other 2 days, I just pack myself and move out. Overalk service is crap, room wasn't cleaned properly. The only good thing is the location. See More

Thank you to the staff at The Orlando for making our stay so wonderful! The staff were so helpful and professional. The rooms and beds are sooo comfortable. My daughter celebrated her birthday whil...e we were staying and they made her feel very special. We would come back in a heart beat. Recommend it for all who are looking for a great location (minutes away from The Grove, Rodeo, great restaurants) And there is a great PJs store down the street called @BedheadPajamas - comfy and fun!! So far a terrible experience. As a military veteran I had requested a military rate by adding that to the "extra comments" section at the end of the booking on the Orlando website (they did not have a...n option otherwise. I was told that there is no way that they can accommodate me at any other rate because I would have had to call and speak with the reservations manager.

First off, everyplace in town gladly offered a military rate. Secondly, it's not the money it's the policy and the attitude I received by the beat clerk at check in. Nice please but that staff is pretentious as it seems so far.

What a charming hotel. From the minute you arrive you feel genuinely welcomed by the staff. Carlos in the valet department greeted me with a smile and was so enthusiastic to help me. The front desk... reception was also inviting and eager to assist any time of the day. The rooms are brand new with great bathrooms and their restaurant, The Churchill knocked the ball out of the park. And finally the location was the best. I have stayed on the Sunset strip and at a West Hollywood Hotel in a residential neighborhood near Melrose. Not any more. The Orlando is on 3rd street and if you want a residential feel, walk one block south and you have the most charming homes. However, if you want a New York feel, stay on 3rd street and walk accross the street to Magnolia bakery, or have lunch at Joans, or just stroll and discover some unique boutique shops that have every thing. The Orlando has it all. See More
