Use to attend this show from 1999-2003 as a kid but Dad didn’t want to attend airshows anymore so I had to wait until I passed my test. Back in 2014 I drove to the show and couldn’t believe how amazin...g it is. How unique. I’ve been going ever since and tend to do all Arrival days, the Friday show and the departure day. I think the show has improved each year and when I have attended a weekend If you arrive early no issues, if you Leave as late as you can, no issue again. People cause their own issues by rushing out the gate when it finishes. It’s well organised the amount of aircraft is unreal amazing See More

What can I say? Amazing time was had by all! The display shows were all fantastic; the Thunderbirds were phenomenal. A really good selection of stands. Food is a bit pricey (4.50 for a tuna melt but that happens at most large events so was to be expected, didn't detract from the day itself.
All of the people working the day were informative and friendly, with two 4 year old boys we didn't feel rushed along and they answered any questions we had and were very generous with stickers for the boys who were thrilled! It must have been horrendously stuffy in their uniforms but they were super professional.
My favourite displays had to be the Lancaster (every time I see it do a fly past I feel emotional), the Raptor which was beyond impressive and of course the jewel in our crown; the Red Arrows. The boys loved all of the displays and cannot wait to come back next year, neither can I!

Thought the Air Displays were amazing. Especially the plane that hovered then shot straight up like a rocket, was nosiy but brilliant. Went with our Special Needs College thought it was a cheek to cha...rge us £6.00. (Also have to buy in advance) to go into the Disabled Veiwing Area. But we all could use the High Dependancy Toilet, for free, so just stayed in that Veiwing area, seems ridiculous to charge. Other than that we all had a wonderful day, just loved the Vintage Village with the singer. We will be back next year. See More

First time and we took our two boys. A long day but full of fun and brilliant flying. Let's not forget the Dutch c130 Party herc. However..... food was expensive and not exactly great quality. would be to bring your own or drop in at M&S on the way. Kids play areas heading to green zone were also a massive rip off.. See More

Brilliant show. Brilliant displays... loved it. Haven't been since I was a small child but man it didn't disappoint.
Take a picnic as once you are in the venders will charge what they want... they their cost to cover and a profit to make. Prepare for the weather ... its England so we all know what it can be like. Just a fab day. Well done everyone.
Parking and entering the ground would be the only improvement.. more clear signage please.

First time going to a air show, don't know much about air craft but was interesting seeing all the different types of air craft used in military from around the world and learnt a few new tings about ...aerospace. Only down side was the price of the food and drinks, £6 for a glass of pimms was harsh. See More

There was much to applaud about the day - and given the low cloud ceiling on Saturday it has to be accepted that some flights were not possible on safety grounds. Disappointing but understood. What not acceptable is for the catering in the Pimm's enclosure to be well below par - lunch paid for in advance, numbers entirely predictable, but hot food unavailable with over an hour of the advertised lunch period still to go. What is also unacceptable is, for the second year in succession, a two-hour queue to exit the red car park. This was caused by allowing selfish visitors to skirt around the legitimate queue to push in near the car park exit, and to thereby cause people who queue in an orderly manner to wait, and wait, and wait. This must be a known problem, and it seems ignored by the organisers - you can deal with this if you want to, guys, but it seems that you don't care. You obviously feel that you've got the most money possible out of us, and you don't care any more. Approaching the final exit point marshals become prominent (non-existent before this), and they wave traffic through frantically, arms waving like sails on a windmill in a gale, apparently encouraging drivers to move more quickly through to the exit. Well, believe me, we needed no encouragement - after two hours queueing, we wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. The marshals were totally superfluous at that point, but would have been very welcome in controlling orderly and fair exits from along the route. Think it through, people, and deal with it. See More

Been coming to RIAT for 10 years now. And every year it's fantastic. This year I took my two year old for her visit, she absolutely loved it. The pilots and the event staff were so friendly and took t...he time to speak to her. We camped for 4 nights and went in on the Saturday unfortunately British weather struck again and some the aircraft didn't fly but there is so much to see and do it's hard to find time to see it all!
Would like to thank the lovely staff on the gate that looked after me as I am pregnant and suffer very badly with morning sickness the gentleman that was on the queue let me passed and had someone look after me on the otherside of the blue gate til the rest of my family got through security.
Look forward to next year!

Amazing from start to finish. The hardware on display from all eras was great to see and the lads and lasses manning the stands were really friendly and accommodating. It was great to see the Apache, ...Merlin, Osprey and Chinook again since I was last away inAfghanistan and they will always be close to my heart. The suprise appearance of the B-2 really did complete the day as well as the Spitfire, Hurricane, Lancaster and B-17. Looking forward to RIAT2018.

The only thing I disliked was people giving poor feedback because of weather; forget those chumps and leave them to playing CoD and vaping their own piss.

Another amazing act has been confirmed for our parent charity the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust's Gala evening at the Royal Albert Hall!

One of the most famous British comedy sketches ever written will be recreated for the first time in more than 60 years, as part of the celebrations marking RAF100 in less than two weeks.

Tony Hancock served in the RAF and his experiences influenced his comedy, most memorably on 30 December 1956, in what is now known as The Test Pilot The sketch will be performed at the Gala Evening at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday, March 31.

Well known Actors Kevin McNally and Robin Sebastian, both of whom starred in BBC Radio 4's The Missing Hancocks - recreations of lost Hancock's Half Hour shows - will perform the sketch live as part of the evening's entertainment.

Don’t miss out on a spectacular evening of entertainment, only a few tickets remain, book yours here:
