I'm not sure how I came to know about the Toonseum, but I stopped in on a whim. The current exhibit is sci-fi. I knew it was small, and wasn't surprised that it was 1 room...or so I thought. Based ...on reviews, I guess there's 2 rooms (maybe through the glass doors near the front). Maybe the heat got to me and I should have asked if there was more to it, but I peeked into that area and it appeared dark and mostly empty. Anyway, I did find the Buffy part interesting, the signed drawings in the restroom, and the book section. I'd go back again, but keep a better eye on what exhibits are showing. See More

Not much to it and little more than a long room. The more interesting items are the books in the front at the store.

There wasn't a whole lot of artwork considering this is a Toonseum. I was pretty disappointed by the way everything is displayed as well. I am a huge TMNT fan and the lack of cool pieces left me more. I have more pieces in my private collection than they showed at the Toonseum. It was random and sparatic and didn't have a flow or solid story. The Movie props were the coolest part of the show. See More

Awesome little hole in the wall for comic art fans. The two exhibits we saw were thoughtful and informative. Support the small but mighty! The interaction with staff is part of the fun!

I was only there for a few short hours hours and had to leave early, but the next time I'm in Pittsburgh, I'm definitely dropping by again! The atmosphere is nice (look up at the front desk), the hel...p is...well, helpful, and the selection covers a broad range of material. When I need more more material to review for my show, The Toonseum is certainly one place I'm going to remember. See More

Great place to see original comic and animation art as well as pop culture and art history. Take the whole family.

We were there for tmnt exhibit. I was surprised how small it was . It was a lot quicker of an activity then I expected because of the size. Kinda pricey for what was there.

Probably one my favorite museums to visit. If you're a comics, animation, or nerd culture fan then you have I spend the money to see their collection. Granted the place is very small but it is so wort...h it. Better than any history museum. See More
