What an incredible training program. Students are given the tools to success, the hunger to actively engage with their community, and a diligence that trains them to demand the best of themselves. It'...s a wonderful springboard for young professionals. See More

Through this department you learn not only an extremely fine tuned craft but also the ideology and philosophy of theatre to the deepest degree. This is the place you go if you are serious about not on...ly doing amazing and large scale theatre but also the place you go if you want to truly understand how to work in this industry and understand the art that you are creating. "A big reason I came to Western was the sense of community. The minute I walked in, even though I had a number on my chest, I never felt like I was just a number to them."
