A favorite! It is small so booking a table in advance is a good idea. It is personal, welcoming and unique. Romantic view to water from some of the tables, and amazing food and drinks.

I was taken here for a first date and impressed beyond words! The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere cozy, comfortable, and intimate, and the owner and he daughter were very, very nice! We even struc...k up conversation with the owners daughter about how they were from South Africa, and what it was like there! Absolutely incredible experience! See More

I had a beat up Seacoast Deals coupon my parents gave me years ago. I asked them if they would still honor it. They said yes. I got poached salmon... OMG.. so mouth watering. My girl got the steak. is my favorite restaurant in Portsmouth. See More

If I could give a 4 1/2 I would. The food is excellent and the new ownership has the right vision and they are on there way to being a 5 star. Ambiance, wine list, look and feel of the wait staff at...tire needs to match the quality of the food. We will definitely come and encourage all to support this little gem in Portsmouth!!! Foodies take notice... The food is that good!!! See More

I called to make a reservation for two people a week prior, and told them we were soon celebrating the purchase of a new home. When we arrived, they had set up a table for us, right by the window ove...rlooking the water which was beautiful. As we sat down, we noticed they had a handwritten card and confetti and saw an adorable little ceramic house with two roses in it (which we came to learn was for us to take home). We were both so stunned at the kindness and thoughtfulness and were excited to begin our quiet romantic celebratory meal.

The meal was a part of their restaurant week menu, which was a home run. Between the creamy rich soups, and savory entrees, we both left completely overwhelmed with happiness and fully bellies!

We truly can't thank the folks at the Wellington Room enough for making this exciting time in our lives, so special and for their thoughtfulness that enriched the evening to a whole new level. Thank you! -Brittany & Greg
