The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) will be holding two public hearings in Amherst this March to receive comments on the proposed service changes and fare increases that would go into effect starting July 1, 2018.
The hearings are:
· Thursday, March 1, 2018, 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM at UMass Murray D. Lincoln Campus Center located at 1 Campus Center Way, Room 163C (lower level), UMass Amherst....
· Tuesday, March 6, 2018, 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM at Amherst Bangs Community Center located at 70 Boltwood Walk, Amherst.

The Town of Amherst, MA's Municipal Affordable Housing Trust is seeking a graduate student with an interest in planning for affordable housing. The position wil...l require approximately 10 hours per month through December 2018 to perform the following tasks for the Trust:
1. Attend monthly meetings of the Trust and take notes and prepare meeting minutes.
2. Under the direction of the Trust’s chair analyze housing data and undertake other research as needed
3. Update and then maintain the Trust’s web page on the Town of Amherst’s website.
4. Undertake other professional and administrative tasks, as needed.

Previous experience in housing and community development and familiarity with housing trusts is preferred but not required. Hourly rate is $15-$18 depending upon experience.
