Trees of Joy was recommended to by a couple folks in one of my FB fig groups. I am new to fig growing and Bass was so patient and shared a lot of information with me. I decided on Sefrawi and Ronde de... Bordeaux. When my plants arrived, they were very well packaged and in beautiful condition. They were so much taller than I expected. I am thankful for the beautiful plants and the guidance Bass provided to me so I have success in acclimating these to my climate. I can’t wait to buy more figs from Trees of Joy. I highly recommend Trees of Joy and am positive you will appreciate the quality of plants and the exceptional customer service. See More

Our Cedrus Ilbani arrived after dark, last night. She was so tenderly packaged, she exuded having been loved -- so to speak. I got pointers from the nursery this morning, and have enjoyed watching t...his "new baby" of ours acquaint herself with our sunshine, water, and other plants. On her way to the cool garage for a while, I let her socialize with my mother-in-law's peace lily. I swear they had a genuine conversation. I watched the lily stretch toward the cedar, and, I think I saw the cedar smile. ;-) See More

I'll invest $35.00 to see if these guys are ligit! I was doubtful of Trees of joy since so little about Bass, the nursery location, contact info etc. was unavailable. The website seemed to be hiding... something. My daughter, while in Bethlehem, tried to visit the nursery to purchase several rare trees for me, but did not get any response.

My $35.00 became $50.00 with S&H possibly another red flag. Finally, I received a package on time.....Whew! I guess they are real people after all. When I opened and unwrapped the package containing my Black Bethlehem, I was impressed with the careful packaging of the, as advertised, 12" tree.

IT KEEPS GETTING BETTER:

But the real excitement was my tree. The large leaves and new growth filled the container with an perfect example of quality, care and professionalism of/from Trees Of joy....Bass Samaan. The BB is happy in its new container, fully opened into the sun and eager to bring a Tree Of joy to its' new home. Thank You so much!

Wonderful selection of heirloom fig trees. My trees arrived in perfect condition. They were carefully packed, and weren't shipped until the weather was warm enough that there was no risk of freezing.

I purchased an assortment of fruit trees from trees of joy. I have gotten some figs off the fig tree. The others need time to mature. Everything lived through transplanting in the spring.

We have several new varieties of figs listed on our website. http://treesofjoy.com/product/bass-favorite/

Excellent large black/violet figs with rich dark red pulp. The amazing flavor, that has the right balance of sweet and acid, combined with the size of this variety we called it Bass’ Favorite fig.

Che fruits are ripening now.
They grow in most climates in the US, from Zone 5 - 10
They are related to mulberries and figs. Flavor is reminiscent of watermelon, Mulberry, figs, and cotton candy.
