We have had some unusually warm weather for this time of year (40's and even 50's) in ND so I decided to start the car. Took a little "pumping" of the gas pedal, but it started pretty easily. Now I regret doing this because I want to get it out of the garage and DRIVE IT!
I appreciate all the recent views and posts. Thank you! If you "Like" d the page and you have a Mopar, post a picture of it. No matter what condition it's in, original, restored, project, half finished, wrecked whatever , we'd like to see it!
There have been a lot of views and likes lately and I just wanted to say, "Thanks!" to all of you who were recently on my page! Usually there is not much action over the winter months as most of us in this area impatiently wait until the snow is gone and it starts to warm up. It's nice to see that the page is 'active' even if we are not. Thanks again to all of you and "Merry Christmas"!
I'm curious to know who the real hard core Mopar people are. If you live in North Dakota or Northern Minnesota, then you know that we have had some un-season-like warm days lately. We almost never get to drive this time of year. Let me know if you took your car / truck out for a ride recently.
Took the car out for a drive yesterday as it was pretty nice. It was nice to just cruise around on, what might be, one of the last nice days of the year. I don't want to "tuck it in" for the year, but I know that day is coming. Bought some "Sea Foam" as I have heard it is better than "Sta-Bil" What do you people think about these 2 products. Let me know!
Just wanted to say, "Thanks" for all the new looks and "Likes"! It is appreciated. Soon going to be time to put our "babies" away for winter in this part of the country. I'm sure there will be a few more days for a nice drive. Anyone know of any late season car shows or cruises?
More than just a car show! They have a lot of things going on all day. Food, games, rides, live music, the car show and more. It was a nice day and although there were a lot of people there were only about 50 cars. Here are the Mopars I saw.
Hope Fest. Hope Lutheran Church at 3636 So. 25th St. in Fargo, ND is having all sorts of attractions and things going on including a car show. Sept. 11th 4 - 7:30 pm.
Cruise to the Island car show in Mayville, ND Sunday, Sept 11th
Didn't make it to Potato Days in Barnesville, MN this past Saturday. About the time I was ready to leave it started raining and then hail. I wasn't about to take my car out in that sort of weather. Hopefully those of you who attended this show didn't get any damage to your cars! I didn't make it to the "History Rocks" show in Grand Forks, ND today either. Hopefully I can make some of the ones coming up before the summer/fall is over and it's time to park the car for the winter!
It was a beautiful night for a car show and especially when it's the first one ever for this little town 25 miles North of Moorhead, MN on Highway 75! More than 50 cars registered for this first show! Congratulations to the organizers for making, what I hope to be an annual show, such a success! I took more than 1 picture of each car because there weren't too many Mopars. Owner registration sheet should be the last pic of each car.
