Sitting in Amed Kedai restaurant in Jemeluk Bali. Two nights ago, staff found out I was musician, I gave them copy of "Looking for Landmarks", and now they are obsessed with it and playing it every night. I always knew there was a Balinese influence to our arrangements, but hearing it while watching sunset here makes it very apparent (am now wishing we had taken up offer several years ago to do an Indonesian tour. Maybe in the future? : )

- After working on our LP4 for two years, we finally have enough songs that we've decided on a title for this collection, that pulls it all together thematically for us.
Any guesses? - Listening to new draft songs from our LP4 sessions. Is it OK for a songwriter to have tears of joy listening to their own music?
- we just wrote and recorded a whole new batch of Two Loons songs this week!!! Sarah is in great voice and I'm in totally new direction compositionally (only playing keyboard, prohibiting myself from touching guitar in these sessions). And many thanks for the engineering, beats & companionship to Aaron Schroeder.
