Good Morning all, What a wonderful Sunday morning we are having! I just wanted to take a few minutes to thank you all for being so faithful to me these 5 years of business. Its funny, I was so busy last night that when I finally went to bed my legs were throbbing all night. I wish business had been that way all along then I would not still be closing. It is bittersweet and just sad that this didn't do as well as I wish it had. I hoped that I made my Papa proud. I struggled wi...th the option of closing for awhile, because I had so many people that I didn't want to let down, that have supported me. I asked myself " What would my papa do if he was alive," and basically he would have said, baby go home, you are running yourself in the ground. I hope maybe in the future I can open up in different building with a different environment. I will continue to do my Christmas Eve breakfast for the homebound so I will be getting in touch with those that have faithfully helped with deliveries and cooking. This ministry has been so dear to my heart and with every breakfast that I have given out I felt the Love of Jesus being spread to those that needed a smile. Christmas is not always great to some people and is the time when depression is at its high. I have met some wonderful people through this experience and have missed some that I haven't seen in awhile. I have enjoyed cooking and serving you all this best of my knowledge. As I stated before I will still be available to do deliveries for parties, job sites, or any event. I will also be able to make chili, slaw, or chicken salad for different occasions but I would need to know a day ahead in order to buy the supplies. Of course, I will still keep the days of Friday and Saturdays for these occasions. You can message me on Facebook, call my number, or text me at the diner number and I will be glad to get back to you. Again, you all that have given me a chance to serve you, Thank you from the bottom of my heart! May God Bless you and give you peace.
Good Morning, if you didnt know this will be my last day open. I will be there 11-8 today. If I do close it will only be to go get more supplies but come on by or call. Here is just 1 of the items that you will miss out on if you dont come. Onion Rings are battered in my homemade concoction.
Good morning to you All! It is expected to be another humid week with rain every day but don't let this stop you from eating with me. It is officially the last weekend open. The hours will be the regular hours regardless of heat. 11-2 5-8 . Thurs-Sat. Get your last cheeseburger, hamburger steak, hots, or hotdog this week. I will still be up to making chili, slaw, chicken salad, or deliveries to a group or family gathering . I hope to see you all!
I have some good news and bad news as the saying goes. BAD NEWS:I'M CLOSING
GOOD NEWS:I'm not closing till next weekend. July 29th is my last day. Lol I don't know why I thought this was the last weekend but Surprise, it's not! So if you missed out on this weekend , then you have another week. Remember though today and Saturday I will be opening at 4 and closing at 10.00 due to the high heat advisory. Pray that next week will be a tad bit cooler!
Due to expected high temps, we will be opening from 4-10 p.m. today and Saturday only. Please remember this is our last week. But, we will still be available for big orders as long as you call in advance. We are truly grateful for all of the support our business has gotten from our regular customers!
I will be open today but it must be to go only. The dining room doesn't have any air but you can call your order in for a quick pick up. Saturday we are up for extreme heat advisory. With that being said, I was thinking of opening at 4 and cook till 10. That way everyone can get their last orders in and it will be cooled off some. Would this work for all of you?
Okay everyone this will be my last weekend open!. I know it's going to be really hot but don't let this week go by without getting a cheeseburger or hamburger steak. Although I will be closing I will still be open to fixing chili for your cookout, slaw or chicken salad but only ahead of time so I can know howl much to order. Also I will be open to doing deliveries for any business around town but again I would need to get those orders ahead of time (preferably a day a head )with names and what they are ordering Please text me the orders and to what business is ordering and the name of contact person. Thank you all I hope to see you all!
I will be back open starting today! I was able to get the frig fixed enough to get me through the weekend. The part is ordered and will be in next week. Thank you all for your understanding and patience during this time but I'm so glad I'm able to finish out the month. Praise to Jesus!
Again I am closed today July 6th. My refrigerator is down and I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to hold out till the 29th of July. I will let you all know. I'm having to trash most of my supplies but if anyone would like to purchase chili, chicken salad or slaw, then I will fix it upon order. Let me know before Sat so I can purchase the supplies. Any business that would like for me to deliver I need to know a day ahead .I am so sorry that this is happening earlier than planned. I really felt obligated to give you, my customers, advance notice but I my frigerator is old and I was wondering if it was going to hold out. I will do my best to try and see if it can be fixed and open back up to give you all the few weeks I promised. Thank you all and I will keep you all informed.
Closed tomorrow July 6th. Refrigerator is down again and I'm not sure if I can get it fixed tomorrow, so I will let you all know. All my supplies have to be thrown out and reordered. I apologize and thank you all for your patience!
On July 29th I will be closing the door. It has been a pleasure getting to know my new customers and reminiscing with my older ones. I have been working a new job since January and I'm really enjoying it. I have an opportunity for advancements with this company and I couldn't ask for better coworkers. I am very saddened that this didn't work out more because I was trying to keep my papas tradition alive. Before my dad died he helped me buy the things I needed along with car...pentry work and it also got my dad and I closer. With all that in mind, mine and Drew's hard work, money and sacrifice regretfully it's time to lay it down. I'm greatful for the Lord above because he is definitely the one that has kept me going! Thank you all again and you still have 3 weeks to get your Tyner fix.! Help me spread the word but don't fret I can still make chili for parties and other events.
