Our first read-thru will be Sunday, December 2nd at 10:30 AM in the Arts Building.

Two Seattle teenagers embark on an impulsive motorcycle journey to join a group of oil protesters on the east coast. But as they follow a major pipeline across the country, what began as two young activists’ longing to belong to something greater than themselves gives way to Rain and Zoe discovering that the true danger in this world might just be growing up.

Rehearsal Dates: Mondays-Thursdays, 7-10 p.m., February 19-April 19, 2018
Technical Rehearsals: Saturday and Sunday, 1...0 a.m.-10 p.m., April 14 and 15, 2018
Performance Dates: April 20, 21, 22, April 27, 28, 29, 2018

AUDITIONS will be in three-minute slots on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018 from 7-9 p.m.
o Each actor should sign up for an audition time on Prof. Hewitt’s office door (ARTS 326).
o Each actor will perform a prepared, one-minute monologue during their slot. (See Instructions below.)
CALLBACKS will be Thursday, Feb. 15, 7-10 p.m.
o Actors will be notified on Feb. 13th if they are needed for callbacks.

LOCATION: Mainstage Theatre, UAA

ROLES AVAILABLE:
Everyone is invited to audition! You do NOT have to be affiliated with UAA to be cast in our productions (though students do have preference).
Men
Rain – a young 20s something actor playing 16.
Ensemble – Male, any age, plays multiple roles.

Women
Zoe – a young 20s something actor playing 17.
Ensemble – Female, any age, plays multiple roles.

Actors should read the script prior to auditions. Paper scripts are available in the Fine Arts office (ARTS 302).
