If you have family or friends that work at Kumho Tire in Macon Ga. Please tell them to attend the union meetings being held at 4320 Mead Rd. Mac...on Ga. For the next two weeks. We have a new union election scheduled for September 5th and 6th. The United Steelworkers have been fighting hard to help them have the dignity and respect that they deserve in their workplace along with a favorable contract that will cover these employees. Not everyone in Macon sees the benefits of having a union but if you look around at the jobs like Graphic Packaging, Armstrong, BASF(chalk mines), Anchor Glass, The Red Cross, Norfolk Southern, and Georgia Power just to name a few, are all jobs that have a union. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that all the premier industrial jobs have a union. Please encourage them to come see us and ask any questions that they may have so that they will be educated enough to VOTE YES on September 5th and 6th!!!
