With a far-reaching career in acting, Onechi Lwenje’s first foray into TV was in a community awareness commercial about HIV/AIDS, produced by Muvi Studios in 1999.
Since then he has gone on to appear in numerous ads, for the country’s top telecoms, including Cell Z (Real Deal), Cel...tel (Mbasela Reloaded), Airtel, and First National Bank (FNB) both onscreen and doing voiceovers.
He has also appeared in some of Zambia’s most influential TV series, performing supporting roles in the legendary series Kabanana and most recently in the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards winner of ‘Best Show/Comedy series’, Love Games.
Onechi makes his big screen debut in the Zambia – Tanzania movie co-production, entitled “Guilt” alongside Hemedy ‘PHD’ Suleiman, Cassie Kabwita, musician Franciar and Big Brother star Sulu...
