We are very grateful that the folks at TOG, The Dublin Hackerspace are again hosting an Ubuntu Global Jam event! A big thanks to Jeffrey for organising this. On Saturday the 14th of September a UGJ event will take place between 12 noon and 6pm at TOG which is located at Warehouse Unit C, Chancery Lane, Dublin 8.
UGJ is incredible opportunity to dip your toes into the Ubuntu ecosphere! It is an opportunity for the Ubuntu community to unite (face to face and online) and work t...ogether on a diverse range of topics with the dual goals of having fun and improving Ubuntu. Everyone can contribute to the Jam in their own way, and everyone is welcome and encouraged to get involved. Curious about how to make a real difference to Ubuntu? This is a great chance to make that difference so why not avail of this great opportunity and join in!

Following on from our successful recent re approval effort and, more importantly, the good will expressed during or team reboot efforts, both on the mailing list and during recent team meetings, We strongly feel the time is right to firmly put our LoCo on a low level sustainable footing t...hat is not too onerous to maintain initially which can be built upon over time when increasing interest warrants same.
Please attend and give voice to you views relating to the agenda items. Also please feel free to add an item to the agenda for discussion if you would like.

Exciting times! We will be holding a Team IRC Meeting at 20:30 on Thursday, 01 Aug 13 to discuss the next steps for our freshly reappproved LoCo. Absolutely everyone with an interest in Ubuntu is encouraged to attend the meeting to help put our team on a sustainable, fun and productive footing.
