Today, Human Streets launches what we hope will be a continuous series by filmmaker Kristin Tieche and photographer Adrienne Johnson on the issues facing #women... who #bike. We call it Women Just Want to Be Safe.
Our first video tells the story of Angela May Chen, who was doored in an unprotected lane on the Embarcadero. Our city leaders should listen to Angela and urgently build the infrastructure we need to keep everyone safe in San Francisco. #protectedbikelanes

Please watch & share this quick feature on the Nov 2017 Embarcadero @PeopleProtected Bike lane. "We put our bodies on the line to create a safe space for bicycl...ists. Since the city won't protect us, we will protect our own" - Maureen K. Persico HUGE thanks to Spin Bikeshare for sponsoring this video
"I just got angry," Juli Briskman said. "I lifted my arm and started flipping him off. I started thinking, You’re golfing again when there is so much going on right now."
