17 years ago today, Chicago lawyer Sean McGinnis launched a new movie review site by publishing a review of American History X. DVD Verdict looked much different in those days. In fact, we've changed considerably over the years, thanks to Sean's successors -- Mike Jackson and Michael Stailey.

And we're about to change yet again! This summer we relaunch as DAILY VERDICT.

We cannot thank you enough for your continued support. Verdict wouldn't still be around without your readership and the more than 100 writers and editors who have contributed to our success. With nearly 30,000 DVD/Blu-ray reviews and over 1600 hours of audio content, Verdict's legacy will live on for quite some time.
