Who remembers Shiloh who died because of a neighbours firework display on 6th November?
Who remembers Maisie who was injured by a stray firework during a displa...y in her parents garden on 5th November?
Who remembers Shearer who died after running in panic from fireworks during a walk on 16th October?
These are just three cases out of many in 2016
How many more people or animals will be injured or killed because the current UK Firework Law is inadequate and it is legal for the general public to let off fireworks 365 days a year

Wow, another busy week!! The rain and grass seeds are creating an abundance of knots to deal with. Last week was not so good as some git stole my sat nav out of the front of the van whilst I was working in the back . Still the fact that I have so many lovely customers that I look forward to seeing makes up for it! It seems the Christmas season is building up and not only is the rest of October booked, but also most of November and quite a bit of December!!! Busy, busy, busy - I love it!!!!
Actually taking a day off to help the other half finish his Masters dissertation. Ready for another busy week, starting with removing yet more grass seeds from my dogs - they seem to attract them from over three feet away!!!!
Wow it's been a long time since I have posted on here. Glad to say it is because I have been so busy!!! Business is booming, I am now booked up until the 15th October and have bookings running through to next year! I am building up an excellent regular client base and I am very lucky to have so many lovely owners to work with and so many fabulous dogs. The current run of wet weather and grass seeds are causing lots of knots and matts so my advice is to remove grass seeds as soon as you get in from a walk. Also very busy at the Celia Cross Greyhound Rescue - I keep bringing my work home with me though, dog number four came home a couple of months ago to join my little furry family and she is keeping us on our toes .
Glad to say that Rosie was found safe and sound and has been reunited with her family. Have neglected this a little lately as I have been so busy! Having my first day off in ten days!! Am building up a set of really lovely clients and dogs - I love my job and love being my own boss. A question I am asked frequently is whether grooming is just for 'posh' dogs i.e. poodles, lhasas etc. So I have decided that I am going to do a regular feature on the reasons why grooming is important, both by a professional and by the owner and offer tips on keeping your dog in tip top condition!!! I will also add them to my website as well.
Please share.. Lets get this girl back safe...

So things are all change for 2012. Both myself and John (my fiance) have left teaching at Nescot and are pursuing new career paths. I am now working weekends at the Celia Cross Greyhound Trust as a kennel hand and Vroom 'n' Groom has gone fulltime Monday to Friday. I am building up a lovely client base with some fantastic dogs - I now look forward to going to work every day. John is putting his eleven years teaching experience to good use as a private tutor, offering tutoring in subjects including Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Science, Ecology and Evolution. If you or anyone you know is interested in booking a tutoring slot you can contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org. Grooming appointments can, as always, be booked by contacting me on 07901847094 or email@example.com. Here's to a happy 2012. More piccies to be posted soon.
Business is picking up and I am working most evenings and Saturdays. I love working in my van with the dogs and it is proving to be very satisfying and rewarding work. My first cheque will be going off to the Celia Cross this week (sorry Jane I've been promising this for a couple of weeks, but working full time and doing the grooming I keep forgetting to do the everyday things!). Don't forget you can contact me on 07901 847 094 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
