I really appreciate WOPP for the excellent coverage of local news and events. So much is offered with the great oldies music and the numerous live interviews with area businesses. Keep up the good work Robert!

Cuddles for Cops:

This pretty girl gave Deputy Jones some love after she had to be rescued from the HOT TRUCK she had been left in at Navarre Beach, on Saturday....

The temperature outside at the time was 84-85 degrees, but the temperature inside the truck could have been anywhere from 30+ warmer. With no water inside and the dark-haired dog in visible distress, Deputy Jones was able to remove the dog from the truck and started giving her much needed water.

The dog's owner, Brian Hickey, was arrested and charged with one count of Animal Cruelty. He is currently staying in the Milton Hilton.

Pet owners, PLEASE, Don't leave your pets alone inside a vehicle.
