Did you happen to catch last week's airing of the BBC/PBS miniseries "Wild Alaska Live"? Because Erin Ranney '13 helped bring you that footage! Erin assisted in long range camera shots and was flying the drones! Erin graduated with a degree in Wildlife Ecology before going to Madagascar to work with lemur populations in the rain forest. She then received her M.A. in Wildlife Documentary Production from the Uni. of Salford in England. Erin also has interned with Marco Polo,... the Smithsonian, and National Geographic as well. She was an officer in forestry club, volunteered at the WSU Grizzly Bear research facility and ungulate center, and did lab work with an ungulate study. In November, she'll be off the coast of Mexico on an ocean exploration ship called the "Nautilus" doing a video engineering internship and learning to use the Remote Operated Vehicles underwater. We're proud of you, Erin! #GoErinGo #KeepUpTheGoodWork #NatureIsCool #GoCougs
