Coach Kerry continuously finds ways for Swimming Saves Lives students to picture their success. Here is new team member Sanchita Saxena demonstrating using her arms with the kickboard. Students and trainers in the stands got a birds-eye view of the technique. Thanks Coach Kerry and Sanchita!

It’s April 6-8 at Campolindo High School and it will be the most fun you’ve ever had 😁 Last year, USF barely beat us in team points. Let’s not let it happen again! Coach Kerry and super fast sprinter (and WCM swimmer) Ericka Richards gave 16 lucky WCM swimmers an awesome sprint clinic on Sunday—time in the classroom followed by fun with bungee cords, parachutes, sprinting in t-shirts, and practicing new drills. It was not only fun learning, but totally worth the exhaustion that followed! Who knew sprint workouts were so hard?!?!

Regular practice schedule Thursday and Friday!!! No Saturday practice this week. The signs you might see on the doors at the pool do not apply to WCM on Thursday and Friday.

Alright Creekers—time to share your thoughts on today’s 5@5 swim! Or were most of you unintentionally too busy today to make it to practice? Did you love it or hate it? 🏊🏻‍♀️🏊💪💪💪🥇🏅

Who from the 5:30 am practice crew is missing their 2-dot Finis paddle? Do you possibly have a 3-dot paddle instead? It appears as though an accidental swap took place about 3 weeks ago. Let us know! 😁👍🏅🥇🏊🏻‍♀️🏊

The time has come. We are switching back to short course. Curious about your opinions on short course vs. long course—please share! Who is excited about twice as many walls/turns? Or are you dreading the interruption of a wall? Did you enjoy our long course training and can’t hardly wait until we switch back? Or were you counting down until this day came? 😁🏊🏻‍♀️🏊

We had so much fun at the USF meet last weekend! If you haven’t swam a meet with us, you should really join us for the next one!

Set your alarm clocks! Tomorrow morning is the super blue blood moon and the best viewing time is between 5am and 6am! It’s been more than 150 years since the last one, and that’s a good enough reason to make it to the 5:30 am practice tomorrow! See you in the pool 🏊🏻‍♀️🏊…/wednesdays-rare-super-blue-blood-moon…

Early Wednesday morning, there's a lunar event that hasn't been seen since 1866. And scientists say data gathered during the event could help them figure out where to land a rover on the moon.

We now have 18 swimmers registered for the USF meet on Saturday! There’s still time to register—the deadline is February 1st—come join us! Carpools have started forming, so let us know if you want in one.

Annual team meeting on SATURDAY January 27th AFTER an 8:00 a.m. practice!!! Who’s going? And more importantly, who’s bringing the mimosas/bloody marys?! Just kidding (are we?) Light breakfast and coffee will be on hand, but most importantly, your teammates will be there! Come hang out with us 😁

Well, another popular swimmer fashion statement has been Uggs. In case you haven’t already heard, they’ve taken it to the next level with thigh-high Uggs (for men). What are your thoughts on this? Are any of our male swimmers ready to jump in on this?

"Putting on Uggs is like putting your foot in a warm pot of butter"
