Do you listen to respond, or do you listen to understand? Have you ever truly listened to someone of another race about their experiences and feelings without thinking of arguments as to how they are wrong? Well, "It's Time To Listen." Click on the link below to listen to Sunday's sermon.
Red, brown, yellow, black, and white, they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world. In Christ we are to be a unified people, yet, we are still a distinctly diverse people. Unity and diversity don't seem to go together, but, in the Kingdom of God, they absolutely go together. Click on the link below to listen to how, as Christ-followers, we can have Diversity in Unity.

Recently pastor Chad Allen sent our staff an article about the reasons why people are coming to church less and less (see link at the bottom). The first two rea...sons relate to parenting choices. Now, I get it - I have one child that is not a huge fan of church and we are already starting to get the asks for Sunday activities. But as parents, we must put first things first in the life of our family - as hard as that may be. This morning, one of our interns shared this sermon with me from Matt Chandler. I cut out the section on the topic at hand as it was a direct challenge to me. I hope it challenges you as well.

I know it’s still November, none of you are thinking about Christmas yet, but this is a great article. I guess you could wait and read it tomorrow when you officially start celebrating.
