“Magic at the Wilburton Inn”
I celebrated my 60th Birthday this past Saturday evening at the Wilburton Inn. I have enjoyed so many happy and beau...tiful occasions here. I believed it was not possible to top my previous and amazing experiences, but once again the Levis family proved me wrong by outdoing themselves yet again. Guests were welcomed to the inn with lovely fires warmly blazing in each gathering place. Yes, I had a fantastic childhood, better than anyone could ever imagine. Yes!!!! I had the 60th Birthday of my dreams, from ambiance, to the embracing of my spirit, to superb food, to a beautifully decorated dining room with every bell and whistle imaginable. The food, well, I wish I could return for a third helping!!! OMG, that cream spinach. And the Levis family wrote a special birthday song just for me, "She Won't Grow Up". From the magical inn in Manchester Vermont, Neverland is alive and well and thriving at the Wilburton Inn. Thank you dearly, Ellen S. Adler See More

We have come here three times now. We love it. Everybody is so nice. Our room is very clean and comfortable and the best part is that it is pet friendly. We... bring our dogs and we are able to have a relaxing little trip. The breakfast is fantastic. The location is very close to town for shopping which is fantastic, but far enough away to be secluded and private. Melissa is so friendly and organizes dog friendly events that are such fun. We have met many nice people and plan to continue coming back. See More

Charming family owned and operated inn nestled in the hills of Vermont. It's far enough away from town to be quiet and relaxing, but just a few minutes down the... road and you have access to everything Manchester has to offer (coffee, shops, restaurants, etc.). The rooms are comfortable and cozy and perfect for relaxing, and the breakfast is truly worth getting up for! (Homemade bread. Need I say more?)

This place is one of Vermont's gems. Definitely worth a visit. ♥

What a wonderful weekend we had at the charming Wilburton Inn in beautiful Manchester, VT! I spent a night at the Inn with my best friend, her daughter and my f...ur babies last weekend and we had so much fun at the Doggie Sleepover! Our room was comfortable and clean, breakfast and party snacks were plentiful, and Melissa the Innkeeper was gracious and welcoming. We had a very special weekend and look forward to returning! A gorgeous property, spotless, beautifully appointed rooms and delightful staff. It's the kind of place you feel like family the minute you walk in the door. Br...eakfast was delicious, with great choices and lovely indoor and outdoor seating. It's close to the center of Manchester, but just far enough away that it feels like a get away. It's so lovely. Go! See More

My boyfriend, our Golden Retriever, Handsome and I stayed at The Wilburton Inn for three nights staying in the Equinox Villa with outstanding views of the mount...ains. We were treated by the innkeepers as if they had known us already for a long time. Breakfast is served in The Billard Room in the Main House, it is delicious, and fresh. I highly recommend the pancakes! Our room was fantastic with a jetted tub and a bed we found ourselves asking how they got it to be so comfortable. The grounds are close to town and also perfectly located to feel as if you are no where near town, it also has so much history that the innkeepers have great knowledge of. You can tell that The Wilburton Inn runs on love, I can’t wait to come back! See More

The staff is so nice and accommodating. Tranquil setting. Pretty views. Quirky art. Interesting family history. Great location to visit Manchester Village & nearby ski areas. We enjoy renting the Strawberry Villa for our group of 6 families. Perfect reunion setting.

This is truly a one of kind place. I have been going here for 20+ years and even got married here in 1996. I am continually impressed by the warmth, hospitality..., vitality and creativity exuded here. I just brought my teen age daughters here over mothers day and they loved it equally. So much to do around town, but even just relaxing in your lovely room or reading in one of their many parlors or walking their art-filled grounds will make it worth the trip to Manchester Village.
Here, you truly become FAMILY.

What a beautiful place to stay. The room was comfy and had a great view. Plenty of room and even a Jacuzzi tub. The sculptures on the grounds were terrific and ...the food was delicious. A great place to go to get away from it all and relax. The staff and the owners could not have been more welcoming. See More

Really authentic place. The only negative was the pool which was cleaned up in time for the next guests! Loved the ambience & staff. Breakfast was great!

Just left and can't wait to go back.
Extraordinary warmth, breathtaking views and an amazing, doting, wonderful family.
Kindness and caring at every turn....
And, there's a swimming pool, to boot. And badminton. And wide open space.

Never have I received such a warm welcome upon entering a new place.
Bravo. And thank you, many times over.

Our stay at Wilburton was peaceful and joyous at the same time. The mountain views are beautiful from the guest room, dining room, and grand gathering room. Th...e Inn has retained the charm and integrity of a 1900's estate. We enjoyed talking with the owner, Dr. Levis and learning about his books, theories, and their Interconnection with sculptures on the grounds. See More

  • OPERA SOPRANO ANYA MATANOVIC TO PERFORM WITH NORTHSHIRE VOICES DECEM...BER 10 Photo caption: International opera star Anya Matanovic (headshot by Arielle Doneson) On Saturday December 10 at 4 pm, Southern Vermont music lovers will be treated to a varied program of Winter Solstice and Advent music by Manchester’s very own Northshire Voices in its inaugural concert entitled Winter Serenade. It will be held at the First Congregational Church in Manchester. The local chorus will be joined for this program by international opera soprano, Anya Matanovic, as well as members of the FCC’s Chancel Choir and Tall Spire Ringers. Snow date for the concert is December 11 at 4 pm. Ms. Matanovic will perform This Christmastide, which was written for opera diva Jessye Norman. In her debut with the Glimmerglass Festival as Micaela, Musical Criticism stated: “The lustrous quality of Matanovic’s sinuous soprano, with its golden timbre and silky-smooth legato, charmed the ears immediately”. Ms. Matanovic made her professional opera debut as Mimi in the Los Angeles engagement of Baz Luhrmann’s Tony Award-winning production of La Boheme and has since graced the stage of Seattle Opera, New Israeli Opera, Boston Lyric Opera and Santa Fe Opera, among others. She has also made notable appearances with the Cleveland Orchestra, most recently in the cast of Strauss’ Daphne as part of the Lincoln Center Festival. Anya and husband John married at Shelburne Farms in 2013 and reside in Manchester, VT. Admission is $15 adults, 18 and under free. For advance reservations, phone the FCC at 802-362-2709. Cash payment is preferred. No credit cards. For more information about Northshire Voices, contact 802-768-8144. See More
