The wine, the food, the atmosphere, the staff, the chefs are all world-class. You will not be disappointed. In fact, you'll be telling all of your friends about the delicious meal you had of locally... sourced, meticulously prepared food paired with wine selected from the best wine makers in the world. Love this place! Wonderful food and an equally wonderful wine list to match. The chefs trained with Thomas Keller and you can tell they were excellent students from the quality and creativity they in every dish. I live on the east coast so can't visit often, but I always recommend this restaurant to friends who visit SF. Can't wait until my next visit later this summer. See More

I have been eating at Wine Kitchen regularly for the last 4 years. The food, wine, service, and ambiance have always been impeccable. The reviews below from people reacting to a funny sign outside nothing to do with the actual experience, which fortunately is already apparent from the tone, content, and the general lack of basic English grammar and punctuation. Love Wine Kitchen! The food is delicious, creative and fresh, and the menu changes with the seasons. The wine selection is extensive. The staff is friendly and quite knowledgable. Also love the at...mosphere; it's upscale, casual and relaxed all at the same time. See More

Had an amazing dinner at Wine Kitchen on Friday night. Jason, co-owner and chef has created a cozy and comfortable environment with absolutely delicious food and completely attentive service. We star...ted off with crisp, tender roasted brussel sprouts, perfectly simple fois gras with balsamic and Burmese curry dip that was easily one of the best curries I've ever had. We moved on to a seared pork belly which was filled with flavor and tender. Perfect evening. See More

I visited the Wine Kitchen in October 2015. It is a small restaurant with an excellent wine selection. We drank some Harrington red and a white Riesling from a vineyard called Teutonic. I live in Germ...any and close to the Teutoburger Wald (in fact I am Teutonic) and do have to travel to San Francisco to make this tasting experience, wonderful.
Not to forget about the food, fresh and tasty, especially the pumpkin salad was delicious.
The Wine Kitchen´s personell love their job and you can taste it.
A place to recommend and I shall return on my next trip to SF.

Great food! Had the pork belly with beets which was absolutely delicious. The maple cheesecake with quince was a nice way to end the meal. Low key, easy atmosphere. Enjoyed it and will be back

Food was excellent, as was the service. I know very little about wine and the bartender taught me a few lessons. 100% chance I'll be back!

Ordered the braised Duck. I found hair in the food. Asked to send back and get another plate and they sent back the same plate and just removed the hair. Disgusting!!!!!! Stay clear of this place. Als...o was told that this establishment will fill their empty bottles of wine with cheaper wine. Will not be going back ever See More
